I've spent the last half hour trying to find a link for the Yorkshire derby - nothing doing. So, I'm turning my eyes toward ESPN2's coverage of the London derby West Ham v. Chelski.
The Yorkshire derby has started - here are the teams:
Huddersfield - Smithies, Hunt, Clarke, Gerrard, Lynch, Arfield, Atkinson, Clayton, Ward, Lee, Church.
Leeds - Kenny, Byram, Lees, Tate, Peltier, Green, Tonge, Norris, Thomas, Becchio, McCormack.

The big news out of Upton Park is that Andy Carroll has picked up a bad knee injury, which will have him out for 6-8 weeks. No wonder he looked so arsed off coming off the pitch the other day.
Elizabeth got me FSC+. Ian and Macca will be broadcasting the Hammers vs Chelsea while FSC + while be doing Harrogate Town vs Hasting United in the cup. One of those could have a dream trip to OT while you and Steve are here
At 10 AM there will be three matches to choose from on me telly. Two Prem matches and BEIN will broadcast Palace vs Brighton

I've got the rare opportunity to play some footer this afternoon. Some of the students who were involved in the indoor tournament a few weeks back have organized a kickabout over on the campus pitch.

Wow - that goal lifts us five places to 10th - that's how densely packed the mid-table is in the Championship - lots of sides around 27, 28, 29 points.
Becchio's goals have been priceless to us while Ross McCormack has been injured. He's back in the starting 11 today - hope he gets on the scoresheet. Still - Luciano is on a rate to finish with 30+ goals this season.
Harrowgate Town are definitely the favorites as they are in the Conference North, the 6th tier of English footie while Hastings United are in the Isthmian PL, the 7th tier of English footie.Also Hastings, which is midway between Brighton and Dover is a long journey up to the Pennines for a team playing regional footie.

Harrogate nearly took the lead as a player was through with just the keeper to beat , but the Hastings keeper made a save at the player's feet. Good keeping even by EPL standards.

A full fledged fight between Harrogate and Hastings as there were about fifteen players involved. Credit to the officials as it was quickly broken up. One player booked for a foul and the other for starting it when he thought it was simulation.

Well - it's going to be a tough competition for Best Actor this time around. I thought Phillip Seymour Hoffman was outstanding in The Master, John Hawkes is incredible as a disabled guy in The Sessions, and I'm hearing a lot of buzz about DeNiro's performance in Silver Linings Playbook - haven't seen it yet. But Daniel is one to beat - he absolutely inhabits a character that everyone knows - you completely forget that you're watching an actor playing Lincoln.
