We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Phoenix from the Flames #1

Over the weekend, we had a chance to have a wee kick-about in Harlingen, during which we re-enacted several recent magic footie moments. This is our homage to "Phoenix from the Flame," our favorite segment from the Baddiel & Skinner Show. This is our own humble effort, featuring MUR as Luis Suarez, deliberating handballing his way to a winning Liverpool goal and breaking Mansfield hearts this weekend. More to come...

You know, a FB friend of mine pointed out a glaring omission from the PFTF photos we took: The Zidane heatbutt on Matarazzi.

We obviously missed a sitter but it gives us something for the next get together.

How about the classic Nocito throwing mud at Menditto after Nocito's shot hit the bar and Menditto hit the easy rebound over the bar!!!
