Carroll the obvious target man for every Hammers attack today.
Carroll headed on a long free kick that was not cleared then he headed about an inch over, but Guzan had it covererd.

Both teams in a really wretched run of form, so there may be lots of goals.The winner is that much closer to being safe while the loser will be part of the relegation mire.

Villa's problem is that they concede too many late goals.They have conceded three late leads that way. Any time that happens it's a recipe for disaster

Delph was an early exiter. I think he made his move to a Premiership club at too young an age. He's never quite made the grade, whereas he was a superstar in League 1.

I know this comes to you as a shock but United have been second best to teams far worse than Everton.

Thomkins is down . Villa have been the better team, but they conced too many late goals and seem to fade late in matches. That is they are where they are.

The Hammers have dominated the early stages of the second half. Fat Sam deserves credit for making some adjustments while Paul Lambert shows ... Well that Villa have none. That's why they always fall apart in the second half.
