Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Good afternoon, lads. I've got a decent stream up and running through First Row over in the office. I spent the morning unpacking boxes and setting up equipment. I've got the VCR/TV hook-up going, so I'll be able to watch some DVDs tonight, but the Time Warner numpties weren't available until Tuesday.
Teams coming out on the pitch at Rio Tinto in Salt Lake City.
Uh oh - video is starting to get a wee bit jumpy now. It's been great all the way through the Waldo preview hour, but now that the match is about to begin, it's getting all choppy. Is that because more people are hopping on the stream, I wonder?
And we're away in Salt Lake. Just a reminder that Panama are favorites here after two wins against Martinique and, more impressively, against El Tri in the opener. Canada are rock bottom of the group, below even lowly Martinique who beat them in the opener. Gulp!
This one's off to a slow start, which has me looking at responses to the verdict in the George Zimmerman trial on FB.
Given that there have been three Canadian-based teams added to the MLS in recent years, it's surprising to see how poor Canada is. Shouldn't they be improving?
Oh - Sanchez should have buried that chance. The goal was gaping as he bore down on that shot from about 12 yards.
Oh - now it's Perez's chance to miss a sitter. Free header in the box from that corner. Panama really should be 2-0 up and Canada will breathe again as we near half-time.
A fairly dire half of CONCACRAP football comes to an end. 0-0.
Good afternoon, Bob. I am here to join you for the second half of Panama vs Canada
This one's putting me to sleep, so I'm off home.
The second half is underway.
Borjan did well to tip over a long range effort by Jimenez to prevent Panama taking the lead.
It finishes 0-0 as Canada are eliminated as they finish bottom of Group A with a point and Panama win the group. They will face the third place team of Group A or Group B in the quarters in Baltimore next Sunday.
Bob was spot on. It was definite crap with the only action in stoppage time. Gabriel Gomez with a quick free kick from midfield nearly caught out Borjan in the Canadian goal, but his free kick was just over. A minute later Marcus Haber appeared to be tripped in the box, but the ref wasn't interested. Then in the final seconds the Canadians took a long free kick from the halfway line and Canadian keeper, Borjan, was called for a foul on the Panamanian keeper.
Mexico vs Martinique is underway from Denver.

Jimenez was fouled by Armolin about a yard outside the box and the free kick by Montez was over.
Armolin with another poor foul and he is lectured by the ref , then Herelle booked for a horrible foul. Both times Andrete was fouled.
Alejandro Castro fouls Parseman just outside the box.
Lupern with the short free kick and Herellle with a shot well over.
Looks like Martinique will play the U.S. in the quarters next Sunday on Baltimore.
GOAL !!! 2-0 MEXICO AS MOTEZ SCORES A LONG RANGE ROCKET IN THE TOP CORNER.
A long Martinique throw from midfield was headed on by A Mexican DEFENDER TO Marquez Lugo who passed to Montes for that spectacular goal.
Martinique immediately made a substitution as Stephane Abaul came on for Linord.
Piquionne out for Martinique as due to an agreement he played for the Portland Timbers. That doesn't make sense as international play in a competitive tournament always takes priority over club commitments.
Penalty to Martinique as Layoun is called for a trip in the box and
GOAL!!!
PARSEMAN SCORES EASILY, SENDING MUN OZ THE WRONG WAY FROM THE SPOT. THEY TRAIL 2-1
It didn't seem a penalty , but credit to the ref as the replay showed it was a definite trip by Layoun on Gustin in the box.
One minute of stoppage time as Aljendro Castro is booked for a poor foul on Gustin.
Huiqui heads out for a Martinique corner as a Martinique free kick was headed across the box. The corner is cleared and Mexico lead 2-1 at the half.
Chepo De La Torre will not be pleased as Mexico were in complete control of the match , but let Martinique back in with a stupid foul in the box just a couple of minutes before halftime.
The second half is underway
A cross from Gustin is headed out by Layoun for a corner. Nioce long [ass from Parseman
The corner from Herelle is headed out by Aldrete.

Layun makes a run but his shit is easily saved at the near post by Olimpa.
A clash of heads as Cretinoir is down for Martinique and Velarde is down for Mexico. It looks really serious.
A bloody forehead for Velarde whose forehead is wrapped.
Cretinoir looks like he will come off while Velarde , who just came on look like he will stay on as he still spills a little blood despite the head wrap
Velarde fouled just outside the box by Armolin as Cretinoir is back on.
Velarde back off receiving treatment.

The final change for Mexico as Marco Fabian is replaced by Miguel Ponce.
GOAL !!! 3-1 MEXICO AS THIS ONE IS DONE AND DUSTED. mIGUIEL PONCE SCORES AT THE FAR POST A MINUTE AFTER COMING OFF THE BENCH OFF A CROSS FROM LAYUN.HIS FIRST GOAL FOR MEXICO
Into stoppage time.Mexico in the quarters, Martinique will have to hope to qualify as one of the best third p[lace teams.
Nearly a fourth as Orozco went down through on goal thanks to a last ditch tackle.
Orozco got behind the Martinique defense and his shot was blocked for a corner. Nice long ball.
The corner from Montes is headed out and Velarde blasts well over.
That's it and Mexico in 3-1, but made it harder than it had to be. Mexico is in the quarters and will play the runner up of group B. Martinique is probably in the quarters and will probably play the U.S. in the quarters. The only way they would not is if Belize or Cuba win by four or more goals.
That's it for me. Over and out.
