We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

John Peel's Record Collection

UWS unearthed this article about a project to post on-line BBC radio DJ John Peel's encyclopedic record collection. So far about 2,000 of his more than 25,000 record collection at his home in Suffolk has been curated at the "The Space," an on-line music platform. Check it out here:

His home is a museum. He must have been a real music fanatic. I wonder if it was a variety of different types of music. Really incredible.
