Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Paolo Di Canio Walks The Plank

Does this look familiar? Hee Hee Hee ! It's the straw the broke the back of the Sunderland Board.  After a run of poor results, poor performances, psychotic behavior , and final this idiotic gesture the Sunderland board had enough and made this jerk walk the plank. He got what he asked for; feedback from the fans. If you call the eff yous , eff offs , and arm gestures feedback. He lost the respect of his players and fans. It was a good weekend for Gooner as his Gunners are top of the pops and he gets two points in the PPP since PDC won the sack race.

Like a comet, he was never meant to hang around that long. I'll miss old Paolo - he was good value, for sure. Sunderland will now no doubt go with some colorless English manager in the mold of Paul Jewell or Alan Curbishley.

He was good value, but after poor performances and poor results he looks a clown. He needs results to have that status. The Black Cats need someone with a proven track record.

My prediction is Gus Poyet

Of course, that could be the same sort of rocky road as Paolo... just not as many pot holes!

Kevin Ball has been named caretaker manager for the Capital One match tomorrow vs Young Fergie. According to the Daily Mirror, RDM is the favorite to succeed PDC. A much smoother road instead of the road less travelled.
