You didn't have to delete your post. Your 'preamble' was better!
Morning, UWS - thanks for your post. Can't wait for this one. Should be a cracker!
You mentioned the fact that I find amazing!
Wenger won his last trophy at Arsenal before game 500
Here are the line-ups for this morning's festivities:
Chelski - Cech, Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpi, Luiz, Matic, Schurrle, Oscar, Hazard, Eto'o. Subs: Lamps, Torres, Mikel, Salah, Ba, Schwarzer, Kalas.
Arsenal - Sussudio, Sagna, Mert, Koz, Gibbs, Arteta, The Ox, Rosicky, Caz, Poldi, Giroud. Subs: Verm, Flamini, Flappy, Sanogo, Jenkinson, Kallstrom, Gnabry.
I just heard that on the Friday Night Preview on Five Live. A lot of Arsenal fans chipping in with criticism of Wenger's legacy, as well.
That's where I heard it too
I reckon that Arsenal will go on to win the Cup this season. Citeh or Chelski for the league.
Shame that United got Bayern in the next round of the CL.
Take a look at this when you have a chance
You're not a big OFAH fan as I am but this was on Sports Relief last night. Del Boy and Rodney with their Cockney friend!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z9H6Yxq1-EQ
So what happened to RVP?
Didn't really who United got.. they were #8 out of 8. Everyone wanted to draw United
Of course, no one gave Chelsea a shot of winning the Cup… they beat Barca and Bayern to be European Champs when finishing SIXTH!!
Sounds familiar!
In injury time, he was tackled late from behind and went off on a stretcher
Brilliant stuff, mate!
The ending is just like one of the most famous scenes in the show
BTW, United weren't that brilliant on Wednesday either
They did attack with some pace and tried to go forward… that was good to see BUT Olym could have scored four goals!!! De Gea was brilliant…. Bayern could hit double digits over two legs with that kind of defending
Becks isn't that bad an actor really.
BTW, United weren't that brilliant on Wednesday either

He was pretty good
Sorry for the double post there!
NBC with their fans' view… love it
What a plonker!
Good morning BD and UWS. I am here for what Arsene calls the biggest game of the season.
Morning, MUR - I'm sure you're appreciating the extra hour of kip these days.
Arsene's 1000th match in charge and what a match to be the thousandth.
Thanks Bob. It has come in handy. How have you been this week?
Teams in the tunnel now. No Ozil for Arsenal.
I've got Ian Darke and Wee Mikey on my link.
No love lost between Jose and Arsene. Jose didn't mention him in his program notes. But he has commented in the past that Arsene is the "specialist in failure." Ouch!
Hey MUR
I am back.. I couldn't connect to the internet for a few minutes
Really good Spring Break, cheers, mate.
You don't have NBC Sports on the telly… or are you keeping it shtuum
Andre Marriner with the whistle between his teeth and we're off from the Bridge!
No NBC Sports over at Kate's place. We're trying a few weeks living together as a test before she moves in proper to my place in the summer.
Out with brekkies . Wenger has a really poor record against Jose.
Derby took and early lead against Forest in their heated rivalry
Half an hour in
Sheffield United host Wolves today with a 2:25 kick off because of some anniversary for the Blades
High Flying Wolves lost midweek… i bought an old neighbor over at Via Lino a Wolves scarf last week. I delivered it to him last Saturday… they've drawn and lost since…oops
Early chance there for Eto'o but Sussudio was alert to it.
I thought NBC Sports was on basic cable!
Not a lucky scarf then, eh?
A close call for the Gunners as sue Sue Suedio fumbled a through ball as Eto'o was through then Shurrle Temple was flagged offside.
Great break by Arsenal… straight down the middle… great save by Cech
I don't think so, but I'll check.
Great save by Cech from Giroud.
GOAL… Chelsea goes right down the other end and scores a corker!!
GOAL! This time Eto'o gets it right!
Chelski 1-0 up within five minutes!
GOAL !!! WHAT A FINISH FROM ETO'O GREAT RUN AND PASS FROM SCHURRLE TEMPLE. CAME STRAIGHT OFF THE SAVE FROM CECH.
Derby two up on Forest
Received the ball from Schurrle again and jinked inside and finished with aplomb with the left peg. Good stuff from the veteran.
How was the Ox stuck marking Eto'o? Showed why he is not a defender. Where was the back four and midfield Gooner and Dad must be livid.
Quite a start here!
Bloody hell… two nil!
Same spot in the net….Shirley Temple this time!
GOAL! Bloody Norah - Schurrle has added a second! Arsenal's back four all over the place!
GOAL !!!! CHELSEA TWO UP AS SCHURRLE TEMPLE SCORES WITH A GREAT FINISH . NICE RUN AND PASS BY MATCH. AGIAN, WHERE WAS THE GUNNERS MIDFIELD?
Is this Arsenal at Anfield all over again?
Who's playing left back for the Gunners today? No one, it seems. Huge hole down that side.
What a start by the Blues! It's been played at a really breathtaking pace.
Gibbs is the left back? It seems that way , UWS.
Eto'o… looks like it's a hammy… he has already signaled for a sub
Just saw the Giroud chance.. he didn't hit it very well!
The goalscorer Eto'o has a problem now - he's done his hammy. Wee Mikey says he's got experience with those. No duh!
Torres warming up....
Torres on for grandpa… he does need a cane now
Arsene's horrible record vs Jose continues as Eto'o is off injured at this early stage and replaced by Torres.
Both teams are out attacking. I wish all matches were played like this.
Sky have an Arsene cam in the corner of the screen. Some grumpy expressions for sure.
I agree - for once, Chelski aren't playing the Jose way.
A poor long Chelsea free kick straight to Sue Sue Suedio.
Hazard with a shot.. I thought it was a handball… surely a red card for Ox…it was a save!
Oh - Hazard nearly adds a third. And he's convinced that it's a handball. It is a penalty! And a red for The Ox!
Dear oh dear - can anything go worse for the Arsenal!?
It took Marriner an age to figure that one out.
Is it a penalty? If so, it's a red… it was going wide!
I thought it was going in at first
OH! Just wide by Hazard as the Gunners lost the ball and now
PENALTY !!!! WHAT THE HELL WAS THE OX DOING?
HANDLED ON THE LINE? YES ITY WAS . HE SHOULD BE OFF. JOSE WAS CORECT TO APPEAL, FOR ONCE.
He's sent off Gibbs…. it was the Ox who handled it!!
STRUTH!!
WHAT A DISASTER!
BLOODY HELL. HE SENT OFF THE WRONG PLAYER.
Three nil and not 17 minutes gone
Chelsea could score a THOUSAND if it keeps going like this
What's going on now? The Ox has stayed on and Kieran Gibbs has gone off!
Hazard to take...and scores down the middle. 3-0 Chelski inside twenty minutes! Crikey!
Why do keepers dive? Stay there and react!
GOAL !! 3-0 HAZARD SCORES FROM THE SPOT TOI PUIT CHELSEA THREE UP AND A MAN UP AS WELL.
Just as well that Gibbsy has gone off - I'm not sure he was playing in the first place.
It was the 'left back' who handled it… of course as Bob said earlier… there hasn't been a left back
How di they get that wrong. The lineman could have helped out Mr. Marriner. How did they send off Gibbs instead of the Ox?
You could read Ox's lips
"it was me ref"
Agreed. Gibbs wasn't playing in the first place, but surely, a Premier league ref would send off the correct player?
I saw that. I just can't believe it.
Forest are doing their best Arsenal impersonation at Pride Park…they're three down as well!
At least it is after 37 minutes and not SEVENTEEN
What will happen with the red?
Surely it will be rescinded but will the Ox have to serve a ban?
So , who will serve the suspension? Will the officiating crew be held accountable ?
13:03:
Chelsea 3-0 Arsenal
Extraordinary. The camera picks out Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain telling referee Andre Marriner 'It was me! It was me!'
No dice Ox son, Gibbs has been sent-off.
Chelsea are down by 5 goals to Pool and 8 behind Citeh… are they going to get even closer today
Vermaelen on for Poldi. I fell sorry for Gooner and Dad.
What a bummer…this match is just going to be boring now
Derby two up vs Forest at the half in an East Midlands Derby of two teams in playoff positions and both managers against their former clubs.
Love to see Ollie break Pool's hearts against like the Cup in 99
This match is basically over and has been since the fifteenth minute.
Three up for Derby
That would be great, but I don't see it happening.
Let's hope that Gooner and Dad decided to have a lie in instead of watching this one.
OX at right back. Where is Sagna?
Wonder if Arsene and David Dean were playing charades for a pre match talk!!!
A film
3 words
A HORROR SHOW
Arsenal have been hammered at the Bridge, Etihad and Anfield!
Not good form against your close rivals!
Sorry UWS. You are correct. Forest three up. All goals scored from midfield. Forest trailing despite having 63% of the possession. A meaningless stat.
BOOM BOOM , UWS! NICE ONE,UWS!
Good point. Arsenal have been in poor form against the top teams, which will cost them the title.
Boom boom, mate. It has been.
David Luis almost puts Chelsea four up… well saved!
OH! what a save by Suedio as he tipped a long range deflected effort around the post.
Nearly 4-0 now! Sussudio tips around from Luiz's shot. Corner.
The corner from Schurrle Temple headed out by Vermaelen for another
The next corner is caught by Suedio.
Just turned on a SS link
They are saying … was the handball preventing an obvious goal scoring chance… it was going wide
Should have been a yellow
THE REF NEEDS GLASSES!
I didn't think about that , but that is a valid point.
What sayeth Gooner and dad? I feel badly for them.
Arsene looks as if he's run out of ideas, but not Jose, who may be getting ready to serve a ban.
Chelsea taking their foot of the gas, to the ire of Jose. I'm sure he wants a ten goal win.
Suedio easily saves a long range deflected effort from Schurrle Temple.
Where is our Bob? I am sorry to say that UWS' Internet is down. Hopefully, he will be back on soon.
Wenger is definitely a specialist in failure today. Jose spot on about that one.
Well over by Hazard as a pass from Torres broke to him.
Have Arsenal had a chance?
Sorry, mate - I nodded off for a bit.
GOAL !!!! 4-0 . A JOKE AS TORRES WAS GIVEN THE FREEDOM OF THE BRIDGE. HE RACED DOW THE RIGHT AND OSCAR SLAMMED IT HOME FROM A YARD OUT. IT STARTED WITH A THROW FROM CECH.
Bloody hell - it's 4-0! Oscar getting in on the action. Torres teed it up this time but Schurrle was part of the move.
Welcome back, mate. Arsenal have nodded off as well. arsenal have not.
The heads have gone down in the red shirts so this could end up a cricket score.
Matic has a long range effort deflect off of Kos and straight to Suedio.
It may end up a cricket score, especially as Jose would love to win big over Wenger to show he is a specialist in failure.
Giroud with a half chance - into the side netting.
Derby match Chelsea by going four up vs Forest.
Three minutes of stoppage time as Torres wins a corner. Gooners will not be pleased.
The corner headed out for another.
Schurrle Temple has a pass cut at for a corner off a nice cross field pass from Azpi.
Arsenal fans will want to put this half behind them. What a shocker!
Hazard has two shots blocked off the corner.
Rosicky straight at Cech. A Czech battle and Check mate for the Gunners.
Halftime and the Gunners trailing 4-0 at the Bridge as they did at the half at Anfield. Wenger storms off the pitch. A half to forget for the Gunners.
Derby have gone five up vs Forest!
Becky just mentioned that Arsene is making a ripple substitution. Didn't he already make one in the first half? That leaves him with two unless my math is off and Becky's is correct.
Major Jenkinson and Flamini coming on. A little late for Flamini, who should have started.
Jose unbeaten in ten vs Wenger. No wonder why he applied the label.
Flamini on for the Ox. Not sue who Jenkinson replaced. Damage limitation for the Gunners.
Schurrle Temple offside from a long ball.
Craig Bryson with a hat-trick for Derby County. The tird form the spot.
Vermaelen blocks from Torres and Suedio from the Sideshow. A poor cross from Side Show off the corner.
Giroud runs into a cul-de-sac.
Bob will be pleased to hear that Wolves have taken the lead at Bramall Lane.
Rosciky booked for a poor foul on Azpi.
The Gunners cheered for winning their first corner of the match! A shocking corner from Caz easily cleared.
Just wide by Caz off a nice Gunners possession.
Suedio superbly tips over a shot from Oscar as Torres got past Rosicky.
Andre Marriner , showing mercy to the Gunners, awards a goal kick.
Flamini heads a long free kick from Arteta straight to Cech.
Derby have defeated Forest 5-0.
GOAL !!! 5-0 AS OSCAR HAS A BRACE FOR CHELSEA.
The goal was the last action for Oscar as he replaced by Mohammed Salah, the Egyptian international.
Suedio spilled a long range effort from Side Show, but gathered before Torres could pounce on the rebound.
I'm back after a luxurious brekkies. 5-0, eh? I'm going to have to talk the Gooner off a ledge later on.
A really poor goal from a Gunners point of view. Rosicky gave the ball away to Oscar just outside the box and his shot took an awkward bounce, but Sue Sue Suedio really should have saved it.
Welcome back, mate. Gooner and dad both.
Sounded from the commentary from Ian Darke that Sussudio was responsible for that fifth goal.
GOAL! And now it's six! Salah has come on to slot home coolly. Wow!
GOAL !!!! 6-0 . MOHAMMED SALAH WITH HIS FIRST CHELSEA GOALA S HE BEAT THE OFFSIDE TRAP. SUPERB LONG BALL FROM AZPI
Obi wan on for the Side Show.
It was definitely comical keeping by Sue Sue Suedio on the fifth goal despite the awkward hop.
Chelski are rapidly making up the gap on GD with Liverpool and Citeh. Crikey!
Does Jose really hate Arsene? He sure celebrated that sixth goal. What will he say in the post match press conference?
Bob will be pleased to hear that Wolves are one up at the half at Bramall Lane.
Bob will be pleased to hear that Wolves are one up at the half at Bramall Lane.
I don't think there is any love lost between them - they've always needled each other.
Chelsea had never scored more than four vs Arsenal in the Premier League era prior to this match
Very pleased, mate - I hate the Blades and a new faculty member here in Cell Bio is a big Wolves fan.
Word from SB that Jose is thirsty and would like to drink some Seven Up!
Indeed. And he might get his fizzy wishes. Arsenal defending has been horrid today.
He will be pleased. Also, I am guessing that there will be no past match handshake unless Jose does in stoppage time, which is his evil trademark.
What sayeth Gooner and dad?
Naughty by Sagna on Salah.
I haven't heard a peep from them yet. I usually give Gooner a few hours to recover after such a drubbing.
Last weekend, he had the good result against Spurs tempered with a 4-0 tonking of DC United in their home opener.
Wasn't that to Someone's Crew?
I am sure you would love a win vs the Evil Lions today.
It was indeed. And the Revs got tonked by Houston the same night. Not a good opening for our teams.
I would indeed. But I don't expect much. We're in terrible form these days, especially at home.
At least it's early days and as long as your teams make the playoffs. It's all about the playoffs in MLS.
The Lions are third from bottom. I expect a home win today.
I back on line and back and back from a walk
Yikes
I don't expect either squad to make the playoffs this season. We're relying on goals from Charlie Davies who hasn't been the same player since his car accident and Honduran international Jeremy Bengtson.
Just wide by Schurrle Temple. Jose remains thirsty.
Yikes, indeed, mate. The goals have really been flying in at the Bridge today. Biggest win ever for Chelski over Arsenal. Wow!
Derby have hit Forest for five!
Wolves beating Sheff Utd 1-0 coming up to half time
My brothers are delighted that Orlando City will debut in MLS next season. My youngest brother is part owner as he has a few shares in the franchise.
How has Fernando Torres not scored today - everyone but the tea lady has put a goal in.
Jose sheds the coat. Why was he wearing it on such a warm day?
For once Nocito Sportscenter is well behind the action. MUR reported on that yonks ago.
so, a win by United today puts up 11 points behind the Gunners!!! Interesting!
Torres has no goals , but has an assist. Came close a few times.
Hard to have an up to date sporstcenter with no internet.. and picking up dog poop
Wee Mikey thinks it might just be a three-horse race after today. You think, Michael?!
Welcome back UWS. I am sorry to say that those score were mentioned a while ago. United need to win today, but it's a potential banana skin.
Glad that you didn't give us a detailed update on the dog poop, mate.
Talk about Wee Mickey stating the obvious.
I guess I will be an Orlando City fan next season.
Two minutes of stoppage time. Why not blow up now?
Decent pop by Rosicky, beaten away by Cech.
United beat Citeh on Tuesday as Swansea beat Arsenal the same night… which they did last year
Down to 8… United beat Villa at home, Arsenal lose to Citeh… down to 5l
United win at SJP, Arsenal lose at Goodision… down to 2
I'm just say!!
WAKE UP NOCITO!!!
Classic. Jose leaves to the dressing room early so he doesn't have to shake hands.
