Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

The match is on BEIN with the teams heading on to the pitch
The announcer stated that Wigan are not in form as they have one win in the last five.

Bob will be pleased with both managers haircuts today.
They're off from the DW.
COMEON YOU MUSTARD YELLOWS!
Four thousand Leeds fans singing MOT and James Perch is already booked for a challenge against the back of Stephen Warnock.
Morning, MUR - thanks for posting the thread for us this morning. It is tempting to sleep in given our recent form but I can't do that to me boys.
Good morning Bob. A rather naughty comment to start the day.
The commentator mentions the dreaded word "administration," which would mean an automatic 10 point deduction down to 37 points. That would put us right in the think of the relegation battle.
The Leeds fans are really enthusiastic today.
Ross wins a corner off of Boyce. The corner is cleared.
Yes - the Leeds faithful are in good voice. MOT!
Yikes!!! I didn't see the dreaded A word coming. I thought the new ownership had the finances in order.
Both managers with stylish haircuts. You must be delighted.
Bloody hell - Brownie could have gone off for that forearm smash. What was he thinking?
Decent move from us but it ends with a horrific mishit shot by Warnie.
Nice possession by the mustards, but Matt Smith needs to work on his volleying technique.
I think it's being dangled in our faces because the new ownership deal didn't go through.
Why are Leeds facing possible administration?
I thought that it would only happen if a team went into debt . a ridiculous decision that should be challenged in court.
Now it's Wootton in and the Wigan players are not happy. Yellow for him.
Scott Wooton, the former United trainee, booked for Leeds for a horrible challenge.
Nice tribute to the two Leeds fans killed in Istanbul at the 14th minute.
Classy by both sets of fans as they have a moment's applause for the fourteenth anniversary of the deaths of the two Leeds fans in Istanbul
A busy morning as I am waking up Melanie so she can get ready for the continuation of a tennis tournament from yesterday.
Decent move there through Byram, who's playing in midfield today. His attempted pass in couldn't be controlled by Smithy.

I have the PIP option on as Citeh vs Sotton kicks off in about five minutes.
Nice long range effort from Jordi Gomez is jut wide.
Fred is taking a cat nap on me desk
Al Habsi tips over a shot from Noel Hunt, who is flagged offside.
Oh - first big chance. Noel Hunt with a header well saved by the Wigan keeper.
I wonder if Bob has fallen asleep.
They're off from the Etihad.
Some technical difficulties from BEIN.
Nah - I'm still here. Just moved from the basement to the living to watch with the Gooner, who's just woken up.
BEIn have gone to a commercial break as they've lost the satellite feed.
PENALTY CITEH AS FONTE TRIPS JERKOT ON A CITEH COUNTER.
We're switching over to Citeh v. Soton while we're waiting for that bollocks to sort itself out.
And as we switch over, Yaya is taking a pen.
1-0 Citeh.
Hey boys,
I join you as Citeh get a penalty… stupid by the defender!
This is going to be a short visit by me. I am off to my baseball draft

GOAL !!!! CITEH TAKE THE LEAD EARLY DOORS AS YAYA SENS THE KEEPER THE WRONG WAY.

Did you see the goal?
Warnock and Brownie go up for the same ball and are both down receiving treatment now.
BUGGER !!! WAGHORN GIVES WIGAN THE LEAD AS BEIN GAINSD THE SATTELLITE FEED. BUTLAND SHOULD HAVE DONE BETTER
Morning, UWS! Baseball draft? Say it ain't so, David. Say it ain't so.
So… I've been losing money since 1995!
I SAW the replay and it looked a defensive error from Warnock.
Ross has a chance to whip in a free kick. Pearce caught fouling.
I wouldn't be surprised.
Good morning UWS.Have fun. You will be missed. What did you mean by the 1995 comment?
Butland should have done better as he dove, but it went under his hand. They only shoed part of the replay.
Two consecutive saints corners.
Brownie's been begging for a card and now he's got one.
Brownie with a requisite yellow for a typical challenge, on Jordi Gomez.
He's a repeat beggar.
Fred is next to me, taking cat nap.
I hope UWS is successful at his twentieth draft. Now I Understand his statement.
Bloody hell - this is hard to watch.
Three minutes of stoppage time.
Sorry mate. Just think that one goal and you are back in it.
Macmanaman wins a Wigan corner
Commentator says that Gomez "has real quality with a free kick," and then the Spaniard hits the first man with his ball in.
Jordi Gomez did his best impersonation of the rugby team with that effort the half.
Looks like Jay Rodriguez is coming off and out of contention for the England squad.
The last thing Saints fans needed as is being stretchered off. A standing ovation from both sets of fans as he is being taken to hospital with an injured knee cap. Woy looked visibly looked visibly concerned as James Ward Prowse come on as a replacement

Ah - Noel Hunt finally got away from his man but his cross was far too long. Where was Smithy!?
Good man; see you in a sec.
Rubbish shot from Tonge.
Oh - Matty Smith is inches away from heading us an equalizer. Wigan haven't done much in the past 15 minutes. I can't believe they're in contention.
We could use a cheap one right about now.
Two quick goals and City are 3-1 up.
I am back. Did I miss much?
Leeds in the ascendancy right now but we need a couple of goals.
Not a lot in this one. Citeh are 3-1 up now at half-time.

Brownie on thin ice as he trips Jordi Gomez.
I would have given it.

The second half is underway from the Etihad.
The second half is underway from the Etihad.
I thought you would say that
How is Michael Brown still on the pitch? He's really on borrowed time. I'd have him off right now.
Leeds down to ten men? Did I miss a sending off when I took Melanie to the tennis courts?
If Brian doesn't then the ref will.
No - we've got the full assortment. Michael Brown is riding a fine line, though. Dom Poleon came on for the ineffectual Noel Hunt.

Hart punches away the corner.
Navas has a shot kick saved from a narrow angle. Now Javi Garcia is booked for foul from behind on Lallana.
Have you had brekkies?
Negredo dawdles over a big chance there.
Yeah - coffee and a bagel.
Negredo beats the offside trap, but a poor final touch and great tackle by Fonte prevents a goal scoring opportunity.
I've only had coffee. I will eat at the end of this match
What's for brekkies. Is Elizabeth whipping you up a feast?
SAF got a position at Harvard. Next Bob at Cornell, so his students are "bobbing" over their Cornell notes.

It's number four for Citeh - Jovatic after Navas had done the hard work.
GOAL !!! 4-1 CITEH AS JOVETIC SCORES WITH A TAP IN MINUTES AFTER COMIN ON. NICE CROSS FROM NAVAS, BUT HOW DID THE KEEPER AND DEFENDER MISSED THAT ONE? A GIFT FOR CITEH.
