Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Footie Trivia Question of the Week

If it's Monday, it's time for a brain tickler. Here's one for this week:

"Ten players have made more than 500 Premiership appearances. Six of those have played for either Merseyside team - Liverpool or Everton. Name those six players."

Best of luck, lads!

Spot on with Stevie G, Gooner. Not so with Barmby or Kolo. They've fallen short.

All good guesses, MUR, but we're only looking for those six players (or Stevie G. plus five others) who played on Merseyside.

David James didn't quite make it.

I'm going by the answers that were given out on 606, mate. Perhaps they're only considering "outfield" players, rather than keepers?

It must be only outfield players.
I think James is only behind Giggs and Lamps

Phil Neville?.. he has to be there
Gareth Barry?.. been around forever
Emile Heskey?..been around forever
Gary Speed?….shot in the dark

That must be all six . I bow to the master! Will anyone be around for the Gunners vs the Hammers today?

All correct, mate - Little Neviller is three, Barry is four, Heskey is five and Speed is six.

Well in!
