Leeds are hosting Blackpool today. I suppose it's too much to hope for a win. I'd take a draw, which would inch us closer to the magic 50 points for safety.
Lots of tributes pouring in for the 25th anniversary of the Hillsborough tragedy. A moment of silence now being observed at the Cottage.
Gary Taphouse and Tony Gale are the B team doing the commentary today.
That didn't take long - the Baggies are 1-0 up against Spurs. That will make a huge difference in the table, with WBA lifted to 13th on 35 points.
QPR have run out 5-2 winners over Forest this morning. That must surely put QPR in the playoffs now.
Norwich pressing their claim early doors.
Robbie van Wolfswinkel has now gone 20 hours since scoring his lone Premiership goal for his club. He's been a total flop for the Canaries.
Surprisingly no goals in the Championship yet with ten minutes gone.
The Baggies are now 2-0 up with goals from Vydra and Brunt. That's great news for United, who must still be harboring the dream of Europa League football.
First goal in the Championship goes to Brighton who are 1-0 up over Charlton. Lingard is the scorer. Brighton move up to the vital 6th playoff spot above Reading.
Wahay - Blackburn have gone 0-1 up at Not a Big Club.
Hudders have gone 0-1 up at Derby. That drops us down to 17th now.
Watford have taken the lead at Evil Millwall. Good on em!
YESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!
It's been a long time coming but we're 1-0 up!
And it's Luke Murphy with the goal!
50 points up - that would be a real tonic today.
Still only those two goals at the Hawthorns in the Premiership. The quality of the football at the Cottage has been dire.
Incredible save from David Stockdale there. I was sure that Van Wolfswinkel had scored there.
And another save from the corner. And Bradley Johnson screws the rebound wide.
Yeovil have taken the lead against Bournemouth. It's a bit too late for them - they're virtually down.
Not a Big Club are back on level terms now.
Oh - Snoddy rifles one off the frame of the goal.
Hudders are back level as well. Derby 1-1 with them.
Blackburn are back in the lead at Hillsborough - they have no respect.
GOAL! Rodallega nods home a priceless goal for the Cottagers!
Norwich made a real mess of that free kick and Rodallega came through with a sweeping half-volley.
The Norwich caretaker manager is not a happy chappy.
Wow - 3-1 Baggies at the Hawthorns. Sessegnon added another for WBA and an own goal by Olsson gave Spurs a goal.
Stoke 1-0 up over Newcastle.
Blackburn have added a third goal.
That's half-time at the Cottage. Fulham more than a touch lucky to be 1-0 up.
We're away in the second half again. What could Neil Adam say to the Canaries after that first half where they were squarely on top but still fell behind.
No changes at Elland Road.
Bloody hell - Van Wolfswinkel has missed a sitter right in front of the Norwich away support.
Derby are 2-1 up now against Hudders. That helps us out.
We're now forty minutes from Championship safety.
Boro are now 0-1 up at high-flying Burnley. That could help out QPR.
Oh - Snoddy had a gaping, open net to hit and Heitinga just managed to put him off.
Moves like De Jaggaer comes on for Fulham.
Gary Hooper on for the woeful Van Wolfswinkel. Where's Becchio!?
An hour gone now - Leeds now a half hour from safety in the Championship. Hang in there, lads!
3-1 Derby at the Ricoh now.
Oh - Scott Parker drags a shot wide. That could well have been the equalizer.
Millwall have equalized - might be a lifeline.
YESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!
Murphy has stuck in a second goal. We're on the way to safety!
Not a Big Club have got a goal back.
2-3 thriller at Hillsborough.
Unfortunately for Fulham, Cardiff are also winning, 0-1 up at Soton.
Fulham hang on for a great win there.
And more importantly Leeds hang on for a 2-0 win that keeps them safe in the Championship. Wahay!
On to the Cup match now. Oh dear - FS2 have employed Piers Morgan as a celebrity Arsenal fan.
I'm back from having a quick nosh with Kate. We're half an hour in and Arsenal and Wigan are at 0-0.
Here are the teams on display at Wemberley:
Wigan - Carson, Boyce, Ramis, Craiey, Perch, McEachran, McArthur, Beausejour, McManaman, Fonte, Gomez.
Arsenal - Flappy, Sagna, Mert, Verminator, Monreal, Arteta, Ramsey, The Ox, Caz, Poldi, Sanogo.
Wigan are having a good spell now but that haven't really created any decent chances.
Into the second half now - this has been a really poor semi-final that seems destined for extra time and perhaps penalties.
Wigan have a penalty!!!!
Mert uproots MacArthur in the box. Dead cert.
Uwe Rosler can't watch as Jordi Gomez lines it up.
Arsenal seem to be trying to delay the penalty with a substitution.
The gamesmanship didn't work - Gomez steps up and confidently sticks it left-footed past Flappy who chose the right direction.
1-0 Wigan!
Gooner and Dad won't be happy watching down in Alexandria. I'm hoping that Arsenal can make a spirited come-back.
Just over ten minutes for Arsenal to rescue their season here. This might well be the last stand for Wenger at the club.
Bloody hell! That was close - the closest they've come. I can hear the groaning from Virginia from here.
And again! Big chance - Gibbs thought he'd scored but Carson got fingertips to it and then it was hooked off the line.
GOAL! There it is! And of course it had to be big Mert who redeems himself from that penalty.
1-1!
Quite an un-Arsenal looking goal pinballing around from the corner and finally nodded home from six yards by the big Teuton.
Corner to Wigan very late in the regular period. They've brought big Ben Watson on for just this sort of situation.
Shockingly poor corner from Gomez there - what a waste.
Stoppage time nearly up now.
And that's that - extra time it is.
