Van Gaal Officially Named United's New Gaffer

 We all saw this coming, but it's now official.  LVG will take over at OT once the Dutch are eliminated from the WC. There are pros and cons for appointing him. I guess he is seen as a transitionary figure that will shake away the cobwebs of SAF. He is his own man, a strict disciplinarian who should have United playing attacking football. Giggsy will be his assistant and should learn from this experienced manager if and when he succeeds LVG. Surely, he can't be any worse than " Dithering Dave."
