Champions League Matchday 2 Live!
Crikey! It's another big European night in the Champions League, chaps. The marquee match up tonight is surely PSG v. Barca, but there is also Citeh hosting Roma at the Etihad and Chelski away to Sporting Lisbon. There is also a packed Championship schedule. So, join me on the LOB for the usual mid-week banter, won't you?

In the early kickoff match, Bayern have taken home a very serviceable 0-1 win at CSKA through a Thomas Mueller goal.
Given that win, you'd have to think that Citeh need at least a point against Roma to stay in the hunt. A win would be nice.
Good afternoon, Bob. I might be around for the early stages. Citeh will have an interesting challenge vs Roma while Leeds have an interesting match at ER vs the Reading Railroad in a battle of Brian McDermott's former clubs.
And we're away at the Etihad.
Bloody hell - Totti is leading the line for Roma tonight. How bloody old is that geezer?
Penalty to Citeh!!!
Aguero steps up and....goal!
Great start for Citeh - 1-0!
It was Citeh's old boy Maicon who gave away a sloppy one there.
Oh - Maicon nearly responded immediately, rocketing one off the bar!
Quick starts for both Rotherham and Not a Big Club in the Championship tonight. They're 1-0 up early doors against Blackburn and Ipswich respectively.
Leeds have dropped to 15th with those kickoffs but of course we play Reading at Elland Road tomorrow evening.
GOAL! Totti has equalized and has become the oldest player ever to score in the CL!
1-1!
Oh - Cashley nearly nipped in to score Roma's second. Citeh looked really stretched at the back.
Two quick goals on either side and Brighton and Cardiff are deadlocked at one each.
Brum have taken the lead at Evil Millwall through Donaldson.
David Luiz and Marco Verratti have scored for PSG and Messi has just pegged one back. Right old ding dong in Paris tonight. 2-1.
No goals in Lisbon yet tonight.
Oh - Gervinho got behind his former colleague Clichy and Joe Hart bailed Citeh out there.
Chelski have taken the lead through Matic. Great cross over by Cesc.
More goals in Paris - it's 3-2 there now. MUR favorite Mathieu Matuidi has added one for PSG and Neymar has got one back for Barca.
Totti leaves the pitch after a great performance. That lovely chip over Joe Hart will live long in the memory. Quality.
The following sides are winning in the Championship this afternoon:
Brum away to Millwall
Rotherham at home to Blackburn
Watford at home to Brentford.
Lots of draws.
Into stoppage time, now. A bit frustrating for Citeh tonight. They really needed all three points in the home leg and will have to settle with one, which keeps them in the Europa League slot. They could easily get dumped out early again.
Chelsea look to be hanging on for a valuable away win, which will have them on top of their group. Schalke and Maribor are contriving to draw tonight.
I'm off home, lads - I'll catch up with you tomorrow for more of this stuff.
I'm back on Wednesday afternoon - happy October, everyone!
I'll be heading off to a tedious meeting at around 3pm, but I hope to be able to use my iPad during the meeting to check scores and occasionally comment here. Stay tuned!
In the early kick off in Russia, Zenit and Moneybags Monaco have drawn 0-0.
Of course my eyes will be focused on Elland Road this afternoon as my beloved LUFC take on Reading. It was a bumpy start for our new gaffer Darko Milanic. Hoping for a big win today.
