The Fourth Round Continues....
The FA Cup Fourth Round continues this morning with Citeh v. Boro and a Brummie derby at 10am on the Fox Soccer channels. I'll admit it - it a was a long, hard first week back so I had a lie-in through the early one, which Championship side Blackburn won 3-1 over Premiership side Swansea. Settling in now to watch a potential upset with high-flying Boro taking on injury saddled Citeh. Join me for a natter on the LOB, won't you?

Morning, chaps - the starting line-ups at the Etihad:
Citeh - Caballero, Zaba, Kompany, Boyata, Kolarov, Fernando, Milner, Navas, Silva, Jovetic, Aguero.
Boro - Meijas, Adomah, Gibson, Ayala, Friend, Clayton, Leadbitter, Tomlin, Bamford, Whitehead, Vossen.
And we're off from the Etihad - Boro straight into the attack.
Jove tic runs into a wall of red there. Boro look extremely well organized at the back.
First goal of the morning goes to Southampton - Pelle with the goal.
And Palace have equalized at St. Mary's almost immediately.
Former Gunner Maruane Chamakh with that Palace equalizer.
Soon are 2-1 up, not - loads of goals at St. Mary's this morning. Scott Dann with an o.g. there.
The goals are flying in now. Preston North End are 1-0 up over the Evil Blades.
Spurs are 1-0 up over Leicester.
Chelski have taken the lead against Bradford City.
And Palace have leveled again in that cracker at St. Mary's. Desmond already in the 25th minute.
Derby are 1-0 up now over Chesterfield.
Half way through the first half here at the Etihad. Citeh really threatening now. Jovetic trying a pop there.
The Baggies are 0-1 up in the Brummie Derby. Anichibe with the goall there.
Boyata with a wild slash over the bar there. And now it's Jamie Milner with a great shot that the keeper tips around. He's keeping Boro in this one.
Cardiff have taken the lead over Reading through Jones. A bit stereotypical, isn't that?
This one is one of only two matches that are scoreless now.
The Baggies are 0-2 up now - Anichebe has a brace.
Ramires has added a second for Chelski.
Wahay - Bradford have pulled one back!
Palace have really turned it around at Soton - they're 2-3 up now within the first half.
Oh - Tomlin danced his way through to a real chance but Boyate did so well to block it.
And that's half-time.
And we're away again at the Etihad. Boro with an early free kick chance that is wasted.
Ironically this has been the one with the least action. After watching that 0-0 draw yesterday afternoon, I'm officially goal-starved.
Sad to see the desolate figure of one Jonathan Woodgate on the bench today for Boro. His career trajectory is tragic.
Kompany picks up a yellow card for bundling over the dangerous Tomlin. Kompany hasn't been quite the player this season.
GOAL! A really scrappy one that Bamford finally bundles over the line!
The Boro fans behind the goal are going all bouncy bouncy now - what a moment for the Championship side!
What have Citeh got in the tank now?
Brum have got one back at St. Andrew's. 1-2 there in the Brummie derby.
Oh - Leadbetter could have sealed it there. Great block again by Boyate.
Seems like a perfect time to throw Dzeko and Lampard into the action. They need some magic from somewhere.
Oh - Adomah had a huge chance there, loping onto a great ball from Tomlin but his lob went straight into Hart's grateful hands.
Still no changes from Manuel Pellgirini.
Oh - brilliant stuff from Tomlin, with a Dennis Bergkamp style turn before rifling on to the post with the outside of his right foot.
Cue Frankie Lamps - Pellegrini has had enough of Stefan Jovetic today. He's been rubbish.
Fernandinho also on now...didn't see who went off for him.
Jack Rodwell has been sent off at the Stadium of Light for Sunderland. That gives Fulham a chance.
Reading are level now at Cardiff.
Fernandinho is straight into Phil Dowd's book for a late one.
The Blades have equalized through De Girol. 1-1 there at PNE.
Two great chances there for Citeh. They're trying to turn the screw here but Boro are still capable of hitting them on the break.
Here comes big Eden Dzeko to the rescue.
Fernando coming off.
Unbelievable! Bradford have leveled it against Chelski!
Mourinho is going to be livid about the prospects of a replay at Bradford on a Tuesday night in February.
Just over ten minutes left - Citeh could be the first big scalp in the FA Cup.
Lee Tomlin comes off to a hero's ovation.
Oh - Aguero had a chance there but put it over.
BRADFORD HAVE SCORED A THIRD!!!!! Oh MY!
Why oh why are we not watching the Chelski v. Bradford match. What a thriller!
Some big scalps on the line here. Wow!
Leicester have equalized at Shite Fart Lane - Gooner will be deliriously happy to know that Spurs will be held to a replay at the Foxes.
Kike on now to give Boro an outlet up front.
Derby are 2-0 up over Chesterfield now.
So, as of now, the sides into the 5th Round draw will be:
Man Utd
Cambridge
Blackburn
WBA
Cardiff and Reading
Bradford
Derby
Boro
PNE and Blades
Palace
Sunderland and Fulham
Spurs and Leicester
Oh - off the bar!!!!!
Last minute of the 90 - Boro attack again.
Auger giving a real go now. Earns a corner. Manful defending by Boro.
GOAL! That's it, surely! KIKE knocks in a second. Bro are gong into the fifth round.
Oh my - Leicester have scored a second!!!
What drama in the Cup 4th Round!
And Reading seem to have won it late on at Cardiff City. Whammy!
Goal at Stamford Bridge - IT'S A FOURTH GOAL FOR BRADFORD CITY!!!!
FANTASTIC!
That's it - Citeh are out!
Now will FSC go around the grounds NBC style? No - they're off to adverts. They still haven't learned.
Leicester have knocked Spurs out - Gooner must be delighted.
What a day - Chelski are out out out!
Back for the late one between Pool and Bolton.
Team news:
Pool - Mignolet, Can, Sahko, Johnson, Manquillo, Henderson, Allen, Enrique, Coutinho, Lallana, Sterling
Bolton - Bogdan, Mills, Dervite, Ream, Vela, Danns, Pratley, Moxey, Feeney, Gudjohnsen, Heskey
Really potent frontline for Bolton today with Eidur Gudjohnsson and former Red Emile Heskey.
Oh - what a ripper from Moxey - whistled by the post.
Real chances there for Lallana and Johnson.
Nearly half time now. This seems a carbon copy to the earlier Citeh v. Boro match. I really fancy Bolton's chances in this one.
Brendan Rogers not looking terribly happy this afternoon.
Back on at Anfield; Rogers has thrown Markovic into the fray -not sure why.
Good afternoon, Bob. I'm back for the remainder of the match. Still 0-0 in the battle of Ulster managers.
Brendan Rodgers furious as Markovic goes down outside the area and the Bolton defender is on a yellow.
A clumsy Can Can as Ivanhoe is fouled on his return to Anfield.
A free kick to the Trotters. Kevin Friend lectures the Can Can man as the free kick from Gudjohnsson is well over.
A great through ball from Coutinho to Sterling , but the Bolton keeper rushed out to block in the nick of time. Great keeping from Bogdan
I know how Liverpool fans feel. UWS and I felt the same way yesterday
Ivanhoe receives a standing ovation as he is replaced by Connor Wilkinson. Class y by Liverpool fan.
Coutinho has two shots blocked off a corner from Henderson that is straight from the training ground.
Bodgdan superbly saves a long range effort from Lallana then Manquillo shoots the rebound well wide.
A superb run and cross from Tim ream and Gudjohnsson shoots horribly wide when he should have given Bolton the lead.
Gudjohnson shoots well over ff great combo work from Vela and Dervite.
Like for like as Lucas is on for Joe Allen
A double switch as Borini is on for Manquillo. A positive move by Brendan Rodgers , but what other choice does he have?
Lallana passed to Coutinho , whop found Borini and his shot was superbly turned around the post by Bogdan.
The corner is headed away , but Pool keep possession.
Another former Liverpool player is about to come on as Jay Spearing comes on for Matt Mills on his return to Anfield. Mills was lucky not to receive a second yellow earlier in the half.
Dervite is booked for a pull back. The free kick from Coutinho is easily caught by Bogdan.
Bolton win a corner.
Minny punches away the corner from Spearing.
Welcome, MUR - I'm back after some wedding shenanigans with Katie to follow the last fifteen minutes of this one. After this morning's fireworks this one has been a dud.
Coutinho wins a free kick off of Danns. Taken short.
Welcome back , Bob. The second half has been s decent half. Some scoring chances.
Wilkinson is not giving Sakho any easy time.
Lallana with a shot that's more like a pass to Bogdan.
I'm happy to see that both Wigan and Blackpool = the two bottom sides in the Championship - were soundly defeated this morning. Keeps us six points clear of the dross.
Bogdan does well to rush out and save at the feet of Henderson. A pen on Spearing on his return to Anfield would have been very harsh.
Definitely stick around for the highlights after this match. Great romantic Cup action this morning.
Miles wide by Lucas. He won't win matches for Pool.
Real heroics from Bogdan this afternoon. The ginger magician for Bolton.
David Wheater to come on to add another big tree to the Bolton backbone for the last ten minutes.
Great news in the Championship and some real upsets based on the scores I saw, especially at the Etihad.
There was some real Moxey on Neil Lennon's final roll of the dice. Wheater will hope his current club will do at Anfield what his former club did at the Etihad.
Pratley will pick up a yellow for a late one on Johnson and that will set up a decent free kick chance for Pool.
Darren Pratley is booked for a trip on Glen Johnson.
Coutinho with a shot up into the air and straight to Bogdan off a free kick from Henderson.
Coutinho gets it all wrong with the half-volley and Bogdan is happy to collect.
Sterling passes and wins a corner.
Wheater heads out the corner from Lallana
Lallana heads over from a cross by Coutinho.
Lallana with a soft header there well over the bar.
It seems that Liverpool players will be wearing their Reeboks in a week and a half.
Makrovic wins a free kick.
Stevie G. looking rather dapper and cosy in the stands today.
Oh - Borini flashes a header just wide.
The free kick from Henderson is headed away then Borini heads wide with a free header as we are into four minutes of stoppage time.
I wonder why Stevie G wasn't even in the squad today.
Well in, mate - you're giving the puns a right work out.
Cheers mate. I try
It hasn't been exactly a Sterling effort from Liverpool today.
Efan Ekoku is questioning Rogers' decision to keep Lambert on the bench for the last minutes.
Neil Lennon humming a Beatles tune in their hometown.
A legitimate question from Efan , considering the circumstances.
Liverpool can pump this one in. And now Lucas tries one from distance. Blocked out and there's the final whistle. Bolton have earned a replay and a berth in the 5th Round draw.
Bogdan pushes away a powerful shot from Lucas and that's it as Bolton hold Liverpool 0-0 at Anfield in the battle of Ulster managers. The replay will be at the Reebok on February 3rd or 4th.
I am pleased I had a chance to be around for at least p[art of the action. I will be around for all the action tomorrow. It was great chatting with you. enjoy the rest of your day.
CHEERS!
Classy stuff for Joe Mou - he really didn't need a Cup run this season, did he?
Cheerio, mate!
Sorry I was not around today
