Champions League Quarter Finals Live!
The big boys of Europe are involved in the quarter finals of the Champions League this week. Yesterday, Juventus scored a narrow 1-0 home leg win over Monaco and the Madrid clubs played to a cagey 0-0 draw at Atletico.
Today, we've got Bayern hosting Porto and the marquee match-up of PSG v. Barcelona. I'll be watching that one - won't you join me?

The team line-ups for this afternoon's marquee CL match-up:
PSG - Sirigu, Van der Vaart, Silva, Marquinhos, Maxwell, Rabiot, Cabaye, Matuidi, Lavezzi, Cavani, Pastore. Subs: Douchez, Camara, Moura, Digne, David Luiz, Kimpemebe.
Barca - Marc-Andre, Montoya, Pique, Masch, Alba, Rakitic, Biscuits, Iniesta, Messi, Suarez, Neymar. Subs: Bravo, Xavi, Pedro, Rafinha, Bartra, Adriano, Mathieu.
Bit of behind the scenes banter between Rob Stone and the Neviller on the Fox Soccer 2 Go link. That was fun.
Teams in the tunnel now - Rob and the Neviller still rabbiting on about everything.
At we're away at the Stade de France in Paris.
An early corner opportunity for the home side is cleared away by Pique.
Oh - Messi hits the post after being fed by a marvelous ball by Luis Suarez. They've got a really potent attack, of course.
Good afternoon, Bob. I will join you at the start of the second half.
GOAL! Barca carve PSG apart and Neymar slots home Barca's opener!
It was Messi, of course, who did the damage, running at pace at the PSG defense, before dishing off to Neymar who side-footed home past Marc Andre Terhagen.
To add insult to injury, Thiago Silva has trudged off injured. Cue for Sideshow Bob?
That goal will hopefully open things up a bit, as PSG had been sitting back just trying to absorb the pressure.
Oh - Cavani had a chance to slip one through to Pastore, but Masch foiled him. And has crocked himself in the process.
More bad news for PSG - goalkeeper Sirigu seems to have injured his shoulder. May have to come off.
Hello Bob. I'm here for the remainder of the match. Luis Suarez nicked the ball off of Sideshow Bob and had a shot saved by Siragu, who looked injured . The keepers back in the day would not have been injured from that type of fall.
I right old ding dong in the other one, with Porto leading Bayern 2-1, with two goals from Quaresma for the home side and a response from Thiago for Bayern.
Barca one up with just before the half.
Welcome, MUR - great to have you around. This one seems to be going Barca's way, predictably.
Anything will be better than the dreadful ties yesterday
Cheers mate. Glad to enjoy the pleasure of your company. I'm glad to hear Spring has finally arrived in Fred Town
It's halftime and Barca are one up In Paris.
Some halftime scores and Watford are two up at Forest as they keep in the race for an automatic promotion spot while Rotherham are one up at the Fake Cottage.in the 32nd minute. That will all but relegate Wigan and make it that much harder for the Evil Lions to survive.
Yes, indeed. Barca go in 1-0 up through that Neymar goal.
Did you see that Bristol City were promoted and Blackpool relegated yesterday?
If Watford go three up then they will overtake the Canaries for second place on goals scored. It's that tight in the promotion race.
I did see that Bristol City did it in style by scoring six at Valley Parade. What a way to go up. Blackpool were relegated a week ago.
I think Yeovil were relegated from League one last weekend. Despite that they defeated the Evil Blades 1-0 last night in what is more a symbolic gesture as the Evil Blades look set to be in the playoffs no matter what happens the last few matches.
A surprise in League 2 as Carlisle are one up at JFH's table topping Burton Albion. JFH's lads need two wins to clinch promotion to the third tier of English footie for the first time in their history.
Pique musty be fluent in English as he has a length discussion with Mark Clattenburg in the dressing room.
The second half is underway. PSG need a goal or an upset win in the Nou Camp.
A surprise in the Scottish Championship as last placed Livie are one up vs Rangers.
Nice solo run by Lavezzi then he passes to Cavani, who plays a horrible return pass.
Rangers tie it up at Livvie while Killie take the lad at Celtic Park
Ter Steegen does well to push a shot from Lavezzi. A good start to the second half for PSG.
Rabiot shot straight at Ter Steegen as PSG's high pressing game is causing Barca some problems. Now Iniesta is down and possibly needing to be subbed. He is being stretchered off and Xavi is getting ready to come on.
Now Xavi is on and play resumes.
Messi is booked for a lunge.
Celtic tie it up vs Killie.
I'm back after a quick break for half-time.
I heard something on the Five Live podcast about Rotherham possibly being deducted points - do you know what that's about?
Barca win a corner off of Van Der Wheel.. PSG counter off the corner. It comes to nothing
I see what you're saying about the tightness of the race for second spot in the Championship. Goal difference - cor!
I read that they may be charged for playing an inelligible player in a match. That may mean that they get relegated instead of the Evil Lions. I think they should be given a warning as it was a first offense?
Those Hornets are buzzing about the Canaries by their cage.
Neymar wins a corner off of Marquinhos , a fellow Brazi, on a counter.
Lucas is on for Rabiot after a foul was called off the corner. I didn't see any rules violations
GOAL! Bloody hell, what a goal from Suarez!
Jackson Martinez puts Porto 3-1 up vs Bayern. Sounds as if some people will be losing out on some points.
GOAL !!! SUAREZ PUTS BARCA TWO UP ON A NICE SOLO RUN THEN BEAT SIRAGU AT THE NEAR POST
Suarez ghosted by Sideshow, flicking it between his legs and then brushed aside Marquinho before slotting home. Great stuff from the former Liverpool man.
0-2!
Great strike from Cavani there well saved.
He beat three Brazilian defenders as he cut inside the Sideshow , Thiago Silva ., and Maxwell House. The goal was a sideshow, there is not a Silva lining for PSG, and it was better than Maxwell House.
One more goal from Barca and you'd have to call this tie over.
A great save by Ter Steegen off the volley from Cavani off a corner then Ter Steegen punches away the next corner.
I think it is pretty much done and dusted unless PSG pull one back.
Celtic have come from behind to lead Killie 2-1. If the Hoops win then they will have an eight point gap between them and Aberdeen.
Porto vs Bayern may be close to being over too.
It's well wide by Messi. Unusally well wide by Messi.
Mathieu back in his homeland as he's on for Rakitic.
Forest pull one back vs Watford as they trail the Hornets 1-2.
GOAL! Suarez again! 0-3! Done and dusted.
The Neviller says that Suarez "put David Luiz on toast!"
£50 million for that?! Shocking stuff from David Luiz.
GOAL !!! NOW THIS TIE IS OVER AS SUAREZ PUTS BARCA THREE UP WITH A SUPERB FINISH OFF ANOTHER SOLO RUN.
If that is toast then surely burnt toast as he was badly burned. Shocking defending by A B rated Sideshow,
Adriano came on for what looked like Montoya.
GOAL !!! IT WILL PROBABLY BE CREDITED AS AN OG TO JERRY MATTHEWS AS A SHOT FROM VAN DER WHEEL LAST CAME OFF THE FRENCH DEFENDER. A MERE CONSOLATION FOR PSG.
Van der Wiel has stuck one in for the hosts while my link was down. How was the goal, mate?
Celtic add two quick goals as they now lead Killie 4-1.
I think it may be credited as an OG to Mathieu. It was a decent shot from the edge of the box. Mathieu sliced a clearance behind him into his own net. It may have been on target anyway.
I've just looked at that goal again and you're right - should go down as an o.g. - huge deflection off Van der Wiel's effort.
Marquinhos heads away a cross from Suarez intended for Messi.
Barca take the corner short and why not as they are 1-3 up away from home late on.
That trouble at Rotherham might be the only hope that Evil Millwall have, as they and Wigan look all but dead and buried.
Late hope there as Cavani had a shot blocked by Jerry Matthews.
Watford restore their two goal advantage as they go 1-3 up at Forest while Fulham tie it up vs naughty Rotherham. That will benefit Millwall.
Was Lavezzi fouled in the box? Hard to tell. Now Barca have a free kick by Messi saved by Siragu
Correct. Wigan are one point away from relegation . The Evil Lions are still in the fight thanks to that equalizer from the Fake Cottagers. Three minutes of stoppage time.
Celtic have defeated Killie and have an eight point lead over Aberdeen.
I'm off home to do a bit of late afternoon gardening, mate.
Cheerio!
It's over and Barca are pretty much in the semis as they win 1-3 at PSG.
Cheers mate. Enjoy as Spring seems to have finally arrived.
Porto have defeated Bayern 3-1 and are close to booking their place in the semis.
Watford have won 1-3 at Forest while Rangers drew 1-1 at last placed Livie.
That's it for me. I'll be around this weekend. Cheers.
