Can Leicester Win the Title?
It's been a long time since Leicester v. Norwich was considered a marquee match (in fact, I'm not sure it's even been considered that). But here we are with all eyes on The Foxes this morning as they try to continue this mad dream of a season for them. Norwich have plenty to play for, as well, as they're perilously close to the drop zone. Join me if you're around this morning.

West Ham have just wrapped up a useful 1-0 win over Sunderland at Upton Park. That moves them at least temporarily up above United into 5th. And it keeps Sunderland second bottom, a point from safety before the later kickoffs.

Cracking atmosphere at the Crisps. Teams coming out the tunnel.
Claudio Ranieri and Alex Neill getting all nice nice with each other.
And we're away....
Hi Bob
I am just back from walkies and ready to go
I do have to do some school work at some time! I have my observation this Wednesday for APPR... such a waste of time and effort
Got my SS link going strong!
Pompey vs Cambridge today
Welcome, UWS - hope you had a nice walkies this morning. Sorry to hear about all of the APPR. Now that I have tenure, it's a really nice feeling not being bothered with evaluations any more.
Wolves have already beaten Derby 2-1 at Molinuex
I'm a Norwich fan today, of course. Kate's supporting the Foxes.
Boro take an early lead at your The Cottage
I'm with Kate
That's a blow to Derby's promotion hopes.
She just doesn't want the Shield coming back to the Cottage. Grrr!
Annoyed that the second match isn't on USA today
All the other matches are on 420 and on but 420 is always a crappy picture and the rest are good
Reading take the lead at the Valley
Again, I'm on the missus side!!
Pedro has had to come off early and replace by Oscar... very apt for this weekend!
The Saints looking for the Double over the Blues
Oh - Jerome was in there but he took too many touches and Kasper grabbed it off his toe. Shame.
Charlton tie it up
I'd love to see Chelski lose today.
I know I'm going to hate the answer but... didn't you look at the links!!!!
Shane Long should have scored for the Saints
I'm saving them for a special occasion!
Leicester starting slow... they're still on the beach
Plonker... and a half
West Ham jumped above United win their win AND Sotton have overtaken the Red Devils just by kicking off.. United down to Seventh
I know, I know. I don't know how I live with myself sometimes.
you'd be interested in it!
For once, I can say that you're a bit late with that report and that I posted that a long time ago (9:39am).
Who do Leeds have this weekend? Not playing today... that will make your owner happy
I'm sure. One of these years, you'll get an email from me that says, "Finally watched the vids - fascinating stuff. Cheers!"
My bad... but I added the Saints bit
You don't have a lot of time!
We're up tomorrow against Brighton away. I don't expect much.
It's not good for United but I do want the Saints to win
Gotcha! :-)
Leeds have been doing okay. Not winning a lot but not losing either
You lot just need to beat the Gunners tomorrow morning. It's a cracking day of footie tomorrow with that one early and the League Cup final.
Boro have a pen at your place... two nil!
Surprised Kate didn't save it!
Don't think we have a hope tomorrow
They carved us open at the Em
I dont 'have the Cup Final on the telly
The Tractor Boys take the lead at Huddersfield despite being totally dominated
She's off her game this morning. Paying too much attention to the Foxes.
Bournemouth get another injury
Slanastov(sp?) with a hammy
Ex Leeds boy Gradel just back from ligament injury was going to replace him but stays on bench
No, Gradel does come on
Wigan already three up against Bury!
I know you haven't checked out those links that you'd be interested but have you checked out Would I Lie to You?
We are in tears sometimes
So, Kate made a huge mistake in her class the other day. She saw that one of her students had a light blue zip up on with "ETIHAD" written across the front. She all overconfident about her new footie knowledge and said to him, "Are you a Chelsea fan?" And he said - "CHELSEA?! Noooooo! Manchester!" And then she compounded the error by saying, "United?" And he said, "NOOOOOO! They're red!" (sigh)
Nope - I'm saving that for my first prison sentence.
Mad scramble in the Canaries box. They clear it. I think that the stray plastic bag put Kante off!
Oh my... so sad!!
Mahrez is so dangerous!
You really need to teach her better!
I kinda blame you!!
You lot should snap up Mahrez and Vardy next summer, eh?
I know - I'm a rotten teacher.
So, United beat Arsenal tomorrow and City are busy in the Cup
United beat Watford at home on Wednesday and Liverpool beat City at Anfield on the same night... United and City would equal on points!
Of course, that house of cards will fall down tomorrow morning!
That sounds like a plan to me, mate.
Bummer. Just lost my SS link
Rotherham take lead against Brentford
Forest do the same v Bristol C
No goals in any of the 4 Prem games
Bloody modern football
This result suits me just fine.
I know what you mean. Far too defensive.
10:34
What's going on at Watford, I hear you ask. Nothing is the reply.
Hurumph
IT IS A DAMN ENTERTAINMENT.. ISN'T IT?
Struth... Jerome should have put the Norfolkers ahead
Oh - free header for Cam Jerome! He's got to be the worst waster of all Premiership strikers.
Still no SS... very annoying
This match has been reasonably entertaining but a combination of plastic bags on the pitch and Cam Jerome have contrived to keep it 0-0.
Okazaki caught one right on the hooter.
I won't bother watching the late game today
WBA v Palace isn't exactly a barnburner!!
It's actually on reg NBC
I'll probably watch a bit of it as I'm walking on the treadmill
Yeah - Kate and I will probably have a walkies down to a lunch spot.
When United lose De Gea in the summer, who will they buy?
A certain Mr. Schmeichel perhaps?
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! They’re flying in all over the Championship, while there haven’t been any goals in the Premier League’s 3pm kick-offs.
Samir Carruthers has put MK Dons a goal ahead at Blackburn Rovers, while Yann Kermorgant has scored his second to put Reading 2-1 up against Charlton. Meanwhile at Loftus Road, Queens Park Rangers have gjust gone 2-0 up against BIrmingham City, with Tajaronn Chery opening the scoring after 35 minutes and Junior Hoilett doubling their lead from the penalty spot. And finally, at the City Ground, Ben Osborn has scored for Nottingham Forest, who lead Bristol City 1-0.
Not a sniff for Jamie Vardy today.
SOUTHAMPTON TAKE THE LEAD!!!
Got that from a Fotmob update... still no SS
Terrible mistake in the back for Chelsea and Long with a little chip over the oncoming keeper
Reading now 3-1 up at the Valley
HT at the King Power
Half-time: No goals any where.
Happy about that Soton goal, though.
Finally... SS is back!
Pompey took the lead apparently against Cambridge
During midweek, Talksport they tied it up against Barnet then changed their mind
Southampton overtake the Hammers as well as the Devils
BBC's half time report of the match at Vicarage road....
A picture of a tumbling tumbleweed!!
Enough..not said
If Leicester don't get the win here, there will be all the talk of them done for the league!
Leicester have 11 games left after today. United, if they win tomorrow, would be on 44 points and could get a total of 77 if they win all their games... stop laughing
So, worst scenario for Leicester, they would need 24 points to guarantee CL football
They're run in
WBA H
Watford A
Newcastle H
Palace A
Sotto H
Sunderland A
West Ham H
Swansea H
United A
Everton H
Chelsea A
Of course they won't need the full 24 but they will surely get enough
We're back on for the second half now.
We're off in the second half
Everyone did their rain(of goals) dance at half time
I think they're definitely in for CL football at this point; I still don't think they'll win the title. It's Arsenal, City or you lot.
Naismith picks up a card for that rash one on Mahrez.
Are you serious? Spurs has to be in the mix
Don't even mention United in the mix... there isn't a hope!
Bottom of the Heap Battle
92nd place Dagenham and Redbridge taking on 91st place Yeovil... no guesses for the score... NIL NIL
Stoke convert a pen vs hapless Villa
Chelsea getting on top.
Not a hope. They're too "Spursy."
Plymouth take the lead against Notts County
More of a chance than United
I think you're wrong. Again, I was on the Spurs bandwagon months ago
Yeovil take the lead win the BotHB
Charlton get a goal back
2-3
High stakes in that bottom of L2 clash.
Mahrez earns a useful free kick here. Dangerous.
Oh - Good save Ruddy from Vardy's free kick. Decent hit.
Did you see the Hull Arsenal replay is on Mar 8 or 9 kick off at 7 but the FA will be fined by UEFA for having a game at the same time as CL matches
The fixture congestion problem isn't the FA Cup's fault. It's UEFA having the round of 16 last three weeks!!
Stoke two up
More than three weeks, isn't it
SIX WEEKS
2 on Tuesday
2 on Wednesday
for three weeks AND then second legs
Pompey two up
That is a crazy schedule. I don't get it.
That Rain Dance didn't work
ONE goal in FOUR games!!
Claudio pushing for a win now. Andy King and Jeff Schlupp coming on. Kante and Okazaki off.
Rochdale take the lead against the Blades
Bolton take lead against highflying Burnley
Bristol City have come all the way back and take the lead at Forest
15 minutes to go
Chelsea tie it up... bugger
Burnley tie up at Bolton
Come on Leicester!!!
Goal at Stoke.. to Villa
2-1
Come on Leicester... you threw away point away last time out... now grab two more today
Burnley have come all the way back
Now lead at Bolton
This result suits me - blow up, ref!
If it stays like this in the next 2 plus minutes... Spurs could go top with a win at home to Swansea
BUGGER.. CHELSEA HAVE TAKEN THE LADE
SO HAVE LEICESTER CITY!!!
GOAL! Ulloa pulls it out at the end!
Shame...on both scores.
Yes from Southampton...not Leicester
SHUT IT
4 added minutes
Alex Neill is throwing Patrick Bamford on. But why take a striker off?
I have to agree with Gary Birtles for a change - why not take Tettey off instead of Cam Jerome?
Great cross for the Leicester goal.. three men running inside the six and the last one gets the goal
Apparently Vardy go the slightest of touches as the first man
Cambridge get a goal back at Fratton Park
2-1
Weak effort by Norwich... I thought that was a big chance
Ends 0-0 at Watford
Everton
BREAKING: The Club is to have a new major shareholder in Farhad Moshiri who brings the promise of new investment. More to follow. #EFC
Another silly free kick given away... just like at the Em.. NUMPTIES!!
In it comes... Schmeichel collects... it is over
Leicester win!!
So do Chelsea
So do Stoke
Wow - Leicester keep rolling on. They're five points clear now with two of their major rivals playing tomorrow. If United and Arsenal draw - a likely result - they'd be four points clear of them. Wow!
A goal at Charlton
Charlton came all the way back to make it 3-3 but Reading score a fourth
That's enough for me today, mate. Not the most thrilling of Saturdays in the Prem, but I'm hoping for much better from your lot and Gooner's lot tomorrow. See you then!
That late Chelsea goal put United back up to Sixth
Pompey win 2-1
Jeff is very nervous about Hartlepool still drawing 0-0 v highflying Northampton
Ipswich beat Hudders
Take care Bob
Northampton had won 10 in a row BUT draw at Hartlepool
Jeff is a happy chappy
Take care everyone
