Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

The big matches in the CL this afternoon involving English clubs are Liverpool visiting Spartak Moscow and Citeh hosting Shakhtar Donetsk.
The teams for the big one this afternoon:
Cardiff - Etheridge, Morrison, Manga, Bamba, Peltier, Damour, Bryson, Bennett, Mendez-Laing, Hoilett, Zohore. Subs: Tomlin, Ward, Feeney, Halford, Connolly, Murphy, Bogle.
Leeds - Wiedwald, Ayling, Jansson, Cooper, Berardi, Klich, Phillips, Alioski, Hernandez, Dallas, Roofe. Subs: Lonergan, Pennington, Lasogga, Grot, Saiz, Sacko, Vieira.
Wahay - the coverage for the match is starting up on ESPN3.
At the top of the Championship, we're ahead on GD with +12, while both Wolves and Cardiff are on +6, with Wolves having more goals scored.
Teams coming out now on a glittering evening - full house in Cardiff.
The Whites are about to get us underway - MOT!
The two sides are teasing each other early doors.
A win for us now and I'm really start believing.
First shot in anger from Alioski. I love how direct the boy is - he'll try anything.
Cardiff have a chance to swing in a free kick now....
dangerous moment but it's cleared out. Jansson is down needing treatment.
On the replay it appears that Wiedwald cleared out his teammate in the clearance. Pontus looks to be alright now.
Pablo seems to have picked up a knock now. That's a danger sign.
Nice tracking back by Cooper there.
No real rhythm to the match as of yet - very competitive.
Another injury problem now - this time it's Stu Dallas down.
Elsewhere, Ipswich and Sunderland are already at 1-1
Good afternoon, Bob. MOT!
COME ON LEEDS! Win at Evil Neil's . Has he been pulling any nonsense?
Villa two up mat Richard Burton while the Cottagers take the lead at Forest
BUGGER!!! Kenneth Zohore gives Evil Cardiff the lead. Sorry, Bob.
Welcome, mate!
Balls! I've just come back from meeting with a faculty meeting to see Zahore stick in a tap in.
Spartak Moscow take the lead vs Pool as do Real in Dortmund.
We're a bit on the rack now with Cardiff's tails up.
Mick's Tractor Boys have come from behind to take a 2-1 lead vs his former Black Cats.
Ah - one pass too many there as Ayling could have struck a shot. Instead, our old boy Sol Bamba was able to cut out.
Sensational ball from Dallas to Alioski but his shot was deflected out. Should have been a throw to us.
A bit of extended pressure now - but broken up by Klich's offside.
Pierre Michel Lassorga, a new daddy, is warming up. He's already got several goals and should see some time on the pitch in the second half.
Villa three up at Richard Burton.
Now then...nice free kick opportunity for Pablo to exploit.
Coutinho ties it up for Pool at Spartak Moscow.
In the end the delivery was decent but no one was running into the right spot.
Forest tie it up vs the Cottagers.
Bugger! Junior Hoilett doubles Cardiff's advantage.
Cambridge take the lead vs struggling Forest Green
Again it came from a defensive error - a missed header.
Sorry, mate
A long way back now for us, with just over ten minutes left in this first half. We'll need one back before the interval.
Cooper may be in trouble now. Looks to be a yellow. He'll have to be careful now.
Nasty one - it could easily have been red for Liam.
The Spuds take the lead in Cyprus
Oh - Zahore rifles one into the side netting. Close.
Phillips had a chance to have a go - took too many touches.
Into four minutes of stoppage time.
Nothing we're doing going forward is working right now. One more chance.
Oh dear - Cooper has clattered his man Zohore down the sideline and he's off!
Disaster!
Liam just seemed too slow to get to the ball for some reason and by the time he got there Zohore had knocked it past him.
Phew - almost a third goal right at the death. That would have really torn it.
Well - that's easily the worst performance that we've had all season by a long chalk. Two goals down and a man off now.
Time for Thomas and co. to have a rethink in the dressing room. It's probably too much to imagine total turnaround but I'd like to see a better fist of it in the second half.
Back on for the second half now. We'll need to be right on it to get back into this one. It'll be interesting to see how we'll reorganize.
Matthew Pennington has come on - the new loanee from Everton. He'll partner Jansson at the back. Might be a back three.
It was Pablo Hernandez who was sacrificed. That's a big sacrifice, as Pablo is one of the only players with the quality to change a match.
Neil Warnock has the kind of face you just want to punch.
Decent move there but Dallas' final ball was into Etheridge's arms.
Oh - Berardi was clean through there but Etheridge stood up well to him. A real chance!
Signs of life, at least.
Berardi has never scored a league goal in his 12 year career. That really would have been a rarity.
Oh - good move there. Ayling romped up the pitch and fed Roofe a lovely through ball. Pulled a good save out of Etheridge.
We're at least playing good stuff here. That's good to see. We haven't just succumbed given the circumstances.
Phillips needs to be careful. Fouls Hoilett there and he's already been booked.
Bugger! That looked inevitable. Zohore finishes off a move that Hoilett engineered.
3-0 Cardiff. Game over.
I've seen enough - I'm off home.
