We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Bilic Walks the Plank!

It's a sad evening in East London, as news has come through that everyone's favorite chirpy Croatian chappy Slavan Bilic has been sacked by the West Ham United board. I suppose that 1-4 drubbing by Liverpool at the London Stadium on Saturday was the final straw. Top of the list of those to replace him - David Moyes!

To be honest I saw this one coming. It was a matter when not if. His team's performances were uninspiring and they were really getting hammered. It's time for a change. I'm thinking that Fat Ronny may be a good replacement
