A very good morning to all of you LOBers. Peterborough are currently eighth in League One and have already seen off Aston Villa in the FA Cup, who included Premier League-winner John Terry in their team and Leicester have loads of people who have won the title, so there could be another upset today.
Leicester needed some VAR to help them defeat Fleetwood but there’s no video referee today, so Claude Puel will just be relying on the fact his players should be better than Peterborough, which they have proved since he replaced Craig Shakespeare by leading them from 18th to seventh in the Premier League.
They're off from London Road.

Grant's landed awkwardly and has a problem now. Being escorted off the pitch for treatment but should be able to return.
Posh came from behind to win at Villa Parl last round , so the Foxes would do well not to become stew.
IHenacho has a shot take a bounce, but it's held by Posh keeper, Jonathan Bond.
Danger man Jack Marriott closed down Hamer really well there as he tried to clear and was nearly in.
Then Ben Hamer takes one too many touches off a back pass, but gets away with it as goes off of Andy MArriott for a goal kick.
GOAL! Leicester dodge a bullet there and run back up the pitch and score through Diabate!
THEN GOAL !!!! DIABATE GIVES THE FOXES THE LEAD ON HIS DEBUT. ADRIENNE SILVA WON THE BALL ON THE FOXES PRESS AND SEVERAL PASSES LATER, HE PUT THROUGH DIABATE , WHO SHOT PAST BOND IN THE CORNER.
Grant, who might still be feeling that injury, gave up the ball in a dangerous area and from there it always looked as if the Foxes might score. Great finish by the Frenchman with the outside of his left boot.
GOAL !!! IHENACHO PUTS THE FOXES TWO UP WITH A SUPERB LONG RANGE FINISH
GOAL! Oh my! What a finish by Ienacho! The new strike pairing for has now scored twice in two minutes for Leicester!
Post have been blindsided by those two quick goals. Leicester can now hang back and keep hitting them on the break.
Two goals in the space of a few minutes were both due to Posh conceding possession deep in their own half and were punished with great finishing.
Iborra takes one for the team, hauling back Grant as he was striding down the middle of the park.
Iborra is booked for a foul from behind on Grant , The free kick from Madison from about thirty yards out was a few feet over. It was always rising.
Then Grant is fouled by young Harvey Barnes.
Are you ready for a marathon day? There's an extra time slot with the late one kicking off at 2:45 today.

I've always had a soft spot for Posh , as one of the Cambridgeshire teams, but sorry to say their big day has gone horribly wrong and this one is done and dusted. Hope they're not on to an old fashioned thrashing.
A rare Posh attack and Lloyd heads well wide with a free header, but the off side flag was raised , so it won't matter.
Oh - it's Lloyd in there again with a big chance, after Harry Maguire made hash a clearance. He slid into the post and he's down for the count to add injury to insult.

Seems like Posh's dubious run will continue. Winless against top flight teams in the last 25 FA Cup matches since defeating the Gunners in January 1965!

Poor defending and goal keeping as the corner was headed on and Simpson hooked through a group of bodies and through Ben Hamer's legs.

This is another excellent example of teams taking the foot off the gas and allowing inferior teams back into it. Why do they do that? It makes no sense to me. Just keep playing!

Ndidi on for Harvey Barnes and Marc Albrighton on for Iborra as Claude Puel changes things up with a double substitution.

Bond or one of the defenders must have had a touch as it was a Foxes corner. it led to a Posh counter that came to naught.
Posh still showing some life, with Marriot nicking the ball off Silva. When he spread the ball wide, he was hoping for a return pass but Silva got back to clear.

Marc Albrighton was not too far off from scoring with a spectacular long range effort. A poor pass from Morais intended for Maddison made it's way to Albrighton/.

That's a fair point, mate. Claude Puel cannot use the excuse that there is a Prem match in midweek because Ihenacho is not a regular starter.
