RIP Cyrille Regis
Another of our childhood idols has left us. Cyrille Regis, a pioneering figure in British football, playing for West Bromwich Albion and England, has died of a heart attack at the tragically young age of 59. Regis came along when monkey chants were still common on English terraces and he, alongside other Black players such as Viv Anderson and John Barnes paved the way for the current crop of Black British players in the Premiership. He'll be missed.

Our youth is fading away!
We're still going strong, mate. I just turned 54 and am feeling great. Long may the LOBers reign!
