Right then, I'm home with bells on really looking forward to this one. Settling in with a snack.
OK, City have probably got to be favourites. They’re 18 points ahead of Liverpool in the Premier League, after all, and at times this season have looked untouchable. When they’re in the groove Pep Guardiola’s men use the ball like both a toy and an instrument of torture. But that’s not how things went down when they last visited Anfield, at least not for most of a match in which City were caught up in a storm of Liverpool’s creation before fighting back and losing by the odd goal in seven.

In the 10 minutes I've been able to watch City hasn't been able to exploit the attacking threat of either Saneh, our Lord and Savior, Silva, or Tintin. Odd.

It's not beyond the capability of that attacking City line-up, but if they did get a few back, you would have to question just what the hell was going on in the first half. Honestly, I'm stumped by that first half.

That's that then - a comprehensive win for Liverpool. It's hard to see Citeh turning over Liverpool 3-0 in the second leg and Liverpool will only have to score one away goal to ruin the party.
