The First Saturday of the Season
It's the first Saturday of the English Football League season, chaps, and I couldn't be happier about it. Thanks to the ESPN+ link, we've got wall-to-wall coverage of it all. I'll be in and out during the day, helping Katie out with her big move. But I'll certainly be around for start of the Bielsa era at Elland Road tomorrow. Enjoy the day!

Blackburn tied it up. Thanks to an old fashioned long free kick that was headed on and the clown in the goal gifted Blackburn an equalizer. Hard to believe he was in the Polish World Cup squad.
Yikes! Blackburn have come from behind to lead 1-2 at PR. Great move down the left. A simple tap in as the Tractor Boys were torn to shreds.
Welcome, MUR - thanks for joining me over there. Much better than draining your phone batteries with the texting.
Great to see Portman Road looking so splendid today. Many great memories there.
Brentford, Bristol City, Blackburn, Millwall, Bolton, and Wigan all leading as we approach the interval.
Brantford appear to be the big winners in the Championship today, albeit against Rotherham who will certainly be relegation favorites this season. Brentford will be top of the league tonight. Lots of 2-2 draws around the league. I'm glad to see that Wigan saw off Not a Big Club 3-2. And Swansea are holding the Evil Blades 1-1 in the second half at Bramall Lane.
Luv it - Swansea pull out a late winner against the Evil Blades, so both Sheffield clubs have lost their opening matches.
They're off from ER. Chance to see how Leeds fare against one of the promotion favorites
