We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Dier is really upset to be booked for what looked like a great challenge on Ramos.
England seem to have weathered the early going and have somewhat settled into this one. But Spain are full of danger.
GOAL! What a great goal for England! Fantastic! It all started with Pickford's sensational ball out to Harry Kane, he fed Rashford who laid on an inch perfect ball to Sterling who lashed it home.

England are 2-0 up inside half an hour. Again it was on the break through Pickford and Rashford, who missed two big chances on Friday, buried that chance.
I am stunned by this performance. Even if Spain come back, it's going to silence a lot of critics. Remember that this is the side that turned Croatia, the World Cup finalists, over 6-0 last time out.
Thiago should be booked there for that hack on Trippier.
Oh - that long ball from Dier nearly connected with Rashford.
Wow! 0-3 England. That was after a long sustained passage of play. It ended with a lovely chip from Barkley to Kane who centered to Sterling who tapped home.
That's quieted the crowd then. This has been an absolutely sensational performance from England.
Barkley was on his bike again. Just got crowded out.
Half-time: Whistles go up around the ground. England have been superb; Spain rubbish.

Harry Kane has been outstanding tonight, linking up play masterfully. Every time Rashford has got the ball, he has done something effective with it - a perfect pass to assist Sterling and a clinical finish to score. Sterling, for his part, has taken his goals instinctively. It’s been very impressive. I wonder if that moment when Dier clattered Ramos has had an effect - the Spain defender looked a little surprised by the challenge, but it seemed to get England’s blood pumping somewhat.
We're back on for the second half in Seville now. How could this ever get better for England. They'd probably like it to be full time and to be able to break out the champagne right now.
Spain haven't lost a competitive match since 2003!

Spain don't really deserve that one. It was a routine ball in that Pickers bobbled out of play. He actually could have let it run out of play for a goal kick but decided to play it.

I'm back after my presentation. Phew! I'm glad that England hung on but I wish that they'd been able to keep a clean sheet. Someone has to get to Pickford and get him to stop mucking about with the ball.
Still - a famous victory for the boys. Wow!
