Premier League Saturday is Back!
Morning, chaps - welcome back to Premier League Saturdays. We've endured the last interminable international break of the calendar year and have nothing but the good stuff to enjoy as far as the eye can see. The footer gods gave us a late lie in this morning with only Rotherham v. the Evil Blades in the Championship in the early time slot. But I'm up and at 'em now for the 10am kickoffs, which include West Ham v. Citeh on the box and Man Utd v. Palace on NBC Gold. At the same time, my eyes will be solidly on Elland Road where my beloved Leeds take on Bristol City. Later on, we got the Top Four rivalry of Spurs v. Chelsea. Make yourself a lovely brekkies and join me for all the fun!

Morning Boys
I will be here!
I do have to take Shad for a walk in the Frozen Tundra of ENY before the ten o'clockers!
Early game in the Championship, Rotherham having fallen behind are all square against High Flying Blades
1-1 with about 10 minutes to go
Off for walkies
Bugger... Sheff U retake the lead
Morning, UWS - enjoy your walkies!
Sadly, ESPN+ have chosen to show us Stoke v. QPR, despite the reality that neither is in the top six, instead of Leeds v. Bristol City.
I'm back...heard on my walkies that Rotherham tied it up in the 92nd min. A win would have put them top. The point put them above Leeds
Leeds still have a lot of injury problems.
Their keeper is out and the young Chelsea loanee that everyone wanted to start.... broke his leg playing for the U23. He's back at Chelsea and done for the season
Good morning, Bob and Dave. Great to be back from the International Break. How have both of you been?
Some firsts occurred during the break:
First sacking of the season: Joakanovic of the Cottagers . Replaced by Claudio
First suspension for an off the field incident: Danny Sturridge for betting , pending an appeal.
Morning David....I'm freezing
Wahay - Rotherham equalized late on to hold the Evil Blades to a 2-2 draw. That leaves the Championship table like this:
1. Norwich - 33 pts (8 GD)
2. WBA - 31 pts (13 GD)
3. Boro - 31 pts (11 GD)
4. Sheff Utd - 31 pts (8 GD)
5. Leeds - 30 pts (12 GD)
6. Derby - 28 pts (5 GD)
It finished Desmond between Rotherham and the Evil Blades at the New York Stadium, which is in neither ENY nor WNY , but in S Yorks.
It's pleasant here after a cool, overcast Drizzly past five days
Welcome back, Dave. Glad you're back in the warm house
The Baggies won 1-2 at PR yesterday, which is why they're in second. Paul Lambert on borrowed time?
Try to find a United link from Canada
UWS and Fred should be pleased that Posh were held 1-1 at Coventry , given that Posh had taken a 90th minute lead.
They're off from the London Stadium.
COME ON YOU 'AMMERS!
We are off at the London Stadium(Still should be called the Olympic Stadium)
Welcome back, boys! We're away at the City Stadium.
Leeds would go top again with a win against Bristol City and a Norwich loss.
A key match in the Championship will be the late one as the Bees hosts Pulis's
lads as well as the Swans vs the Canaries, which is probably the MOTD in the Championship.
While all the pundits have been glowing about Citeh, the nice thing about this season is that Liverpool and Chelsea have both stayed in the hunt. We can all hope for the Hammers to nick a couple of points off Citeh and then the picture changes at the top.
That info from Bob was not idle gossip.
This is the furthest into an English top flight season with three undefeated teams.
Already the commentators are going gaga over City
They've done nothing!
Celtic won 0-03 at George Hamilton Academical. Meanwhile Hibs have taken the lead vs bottom club, Crocodile Dundee.
Antonio beats the Citeh offside trap off a nice through ball from Arnautovic, but hesitated and won a corner.
Much of my info is idle gossip. LOL!
Abe Lincoln held 1-1 by Jayne Mansfield in an E Midlands Derby, meaning that the 16th President stays second, behind the Fake Dons
You need to mute the commentary, mate.
Watford thought that they had an early goal but Delafeu was ruled offside.
LOL, mate! Evil Ridsdale takes the lead vs Blackburn in a Lancs Derby
QPR take the lead at Stoke
Apparently, United have started well
I was thinking about our Silva Anniversary as David Silva shot in to the side netting after a sloppy clearance by Felipe Anderson , who defended more like Anderson Cooper.
Bugger! Silva with a cheap early goal for Citeh.
BUGGER! DAVID SILVA GIVES CITEH THE LEAD.
Bugger
City one up
It was a goal...nothing more
Arlo would have been going on and on about the break
It was a horrible cross deflected
PNE 2 up vs Blackburn
Apparently there are a couple of new faces in the Leeds starting XI today. Will Huffer is debuting in goal taking the place of Peacock-Farrell. And new boy Aapo Halme is anchoring the defense alongside Liam Cooper.
West Ham are trying to attack... they are saying it is risky. That is how you play against City. I don't think they are that good at the back
Wednesday take the lead vs Derby on Saturday
I agree, mate - I'm hoping that the Hammers can nick one back.
Bolton take the lead at the Den
Ordinarily I wouldn't like that scoreline but Derby are promotion rivals of ours. Good stuff.
The Citeh goal started deep in their own half with a tackle on Felipe Anderson Cooper. Several passes later, Sterling Silva combined as a deflected pass from the right was easily tapped in
Martin O'Neil and Roy Keane left RoI this week
Either of them to take over from Hughes at St Mary's?
Brighton take the lead vs Leicester
Seagulls take the lead vs the Foxes.
Bob, did you read my injury update from Elland Road?
Glen Murray with the goal , assisted by former Fox Knockout
It's the right time for that duo to leave ROI. Can't do any worse than Hughes.
Very annoying... can't get any links working on my website!
Sorry, mate. I just read it. I knew about Peacock-Farrell but who was the Chelsea loanee? Jack Harrison?
Still scoreless at OT
On my United app, it is 18 minutes in.... last highlight... Martial shot after 5 minutes
Southampton take the lead at Bob and Kate's....Kate at the back post with a bullet header
I lieu of an early match, NBC Sports were showing their Leicester championship season special again. Great memories for the Foxes but they're a long way off that form these days.
Bugger! Sterling knocks in Citeh's second and they're cruising already.
Some In Sane defending from the Hammers as Sane attacked down the left and Sterling easily tapped in to put Citeh two up.
City two nil
Another 'slick' goal... It was a goal..
Winger crossing it and not getting blocked
Soton have scored early on Claudio Ranieri's debut as Fulham boss. They're desperate for a win today.
That wasn't a half chance. That was a full chance.
My Only Fools and Horses link is working
Decent save by Ederson from Arnautovic then Antonio shoots right at Ederson from close range off a pass from Arnautovic
That would be good commentary background for this match, mate.
Claudio brought in at the Cottage to stop the defensive leaks. That may take time.
I have tried to tune in a couple of TSN channels from Canada...nothing working
Zaha inches wide
Stoke 1 QPR 1
Scottish international ,.Stuart Armstrong, a recent signing from Celtic with the goal at Bob and Kate's
Yikes! A Real butt kicking as Eibar thrashed Real 3-0.
United at home to Palace....ONE SHOT, ONE CHANCE CREATED..20+ minutes!
How long can this continue?
Jose has said this week that Sanchez can leave in January but doesn't think he will
He said that Pogba, Sanchez, Rashford and Shaw are immature babies
Canaries take the lead at the Liberty. Bob will not be pleased.
Rangers take the lead vs Livingston.
Not pleased at all, mate.
Norwich are two up in Wales....they are on such a roll!
Their fans must love seeing them on top and Ipswich on bottom
I think Jose has the same problems as Pep, Klopp, and Co. Just can't handle them well.
Sunderland’s Max Power has lived up to his name again, and been sent off for the third time this season.
Bury take the lead at Cambridge.
Don't like it at all. I'd like for both East Anglian sides to be safely in mid-table.
Teams don't attack City enough... a glutton for punishment!
Stevenage take the lead vs table topping Fake Dons. Let's hope they're not the real deal.
Fred says he has a powerful stride.
The scorer of Norwich City's goal - "Emiliano Buendia." Sign of the times. A long way from Mark Robins.
Luton take the lead at the Gils.
Bury now two up at Cambridge
Norwich's first goal was an OG by Mike Van Der Horn
What does that name remind you of Bob
Still 0-0 at the half hour mark at Elland Road. I want a goal!
Motherwell doing well as they take the lead vs Aberdeen
Our fourth prez just got a RED
Derby tie it up at Hillsboro
Fake Dons tie it up at Stevenage
I remember seeing Leeds at Carrow Road once and Paul Hart scored an own goal. Kevin Brynie was with me and said that Hart scored so many own goals that he thought his name was "Hartog." Boom boom!
Second yellow for "simulation" for Maddison, that is.
See my question Bob?
Bradford City take the lead vs Oxford United , going off the foot of the L1 table and ahead of the Real Dons, who trail at home to Southend
Harry Wilson has equalized for Derby.
Fulham tie it up at the Cottage
Bob answers Kate's header with one off his bum
BOOM BOOM indeed. He did score several OGs in his career.
Yeah - that's what I was responding to, mate. It reminded me of that Paul Hart own goal and Kevin's joke. Was there something else?
Bloody hell! Citeh are 0-3 up. Sane this time.
BUGGER! CITEH THREE UP AS SANE TOO EASILY SCORES HIS SECOND
Three nil City
Again... going gaga about City...it makes me barf!
It was a goal...that's it
Hopeless defending from West Ham. Johnno should be ashamed.
Oh... every time I hear Van Der... I always think...
VAN DER KERKOFF
First goal of the Ranieri era as Kate ties it up for the Cottagers vs the Saints.
Fulham have equalized on Claudio's debut day. I hope he does well there - I quite Fulham. Bad boy Mitrovic with the goal.
Pompey in the lead at Scunny
Classic bit of World Cup commentary. Who was that - Barry Davies?
There is no reason for NBC to stay with this match
A chipped pass from Fernandinho was played to Sterling and he passed to Sane, who too easily tuned his defender then shot past Flappy.
Derby now lead at Wednesday on Saturday
The tables have changed - I think we've scored!
I'm not sure...I think it might have been someone that normally didn't do commentary of football
I'm going to try and find it
Simulation by a President is a feeling of deja vu.
Geez... Canaries are singing loud in Wales
Three nil
Leeds did not score. Idle gossip, mate
Rams have come from behind to lead 1-2 at Hillsborough. Normally , Bob would be pleased.
Bugger! I'd got my hopes up - the Guardian site had us on 33 points but now we're back down to 31. Maybe there was a disallowed effort?
No hope for Swansea now.
Hibs two up vs bottom club Crocodile Dundee, who could use a knife or two and Motherwell doing well to go two up vs Aberdeen
according to FOTMOB, both teams have missed attempts at ER
UWS will be pleased at the L1 scores.
Marco Stiepermann with the third Canaries goal. What's in a name?
Pompey doing well today against Scunny.
UWS will be delighted that Pompey are two up at Scummy.
Bradford City to up vs Oxford Shoes as they're off the "foot " of the table.
Fulham have comeback and taken the lead at the Cottage
Bob with a brace...this one from 25yrds out... upper corner
Phew - Palace almost took the lead through a Lindelof own goal but it's ruled offside.
Real Dons bottom of L1 and Fake Dons top of L2. Not a swap we want to witness.
I would love it but only for my boys in White.
I want these undefeated teams to lose
Will Pool come up a cropper today at the Vicarage Road...hope so
Chelsea to lose to Spurs
West Ham score four in the second half?
Cambridge score vs Bury , but trail 1-2.
A pair of stoppage time minutes
Palace score but it is offside
Kate a genius for hiring Ranieri and was credited with the first goal as she redirected a miss hit shot from Bob.
I'm happy for Claudio. I thought he was hard done by at Leicester.
Swans pull one back vs the Canaries. Comeback on?
Citeh three up at the half.
Half-time at City of London Stadium. Citeh cruising it.
Totally agree with Jack on the Beeb
Jack: It would be nice if teams actually tried against Man City. Showing up beaten from the first whistle. You have to get at them to beat them, sitting ducks otherwise!
A bit of bite from, Crocodile Dundee as they pull one back at Hibs.
We need to take advantage of these scorelines. We could at least be in second today with a win. We need a goal now!
From the Beeb

HALF-TIME
Man Utd 0-0 Crystal Palace
Goalless at the break, Palace have been the better side.
A few boos of disgruntlement ring around Old Trafford.
Daniel James with the Swans goal. A better name than the Canaries scorers?
Fulham's first goal some slick passing... if it was City.....WOOOAH
Awful dive by Maddo
We're away again for the second half at the City of London. Not sure what West Ham have in mind in this half. They're already well beaten.
Flappy saves from Sane. Could easily have been 0-4.
Nearly a fourth for Citeh early in the second half as Flappy makes a great close range block.
Some big matches in the National League:
1st vs 3rd as it's 0-0 between Wrexham and the Orient Express.
4th vs Second as Solihiull Moors vs Salford City also 0-0
Im back after making our morning shakes..of course... I missed nothing from OT
NoW THAT'S A KNIFE ! Crocodile Dundee have come from two down to make it Desmond at Hibs , but remain bottom because Second from bottom St. Helen Mirren takes the lad vs second from top Queen of Hearts
What's in your shake, mate?
Welcome back. Watching United will give you shakes any time of the day or night!
Fred will not be pleased, but UWS will as Wasall take the lead vs the ten men Black Cats, who lack some power.
Desmond at the Cottage
Kate has answered Bob's brace with one of her own
This time a glancing header.
Desmond has come uninvited to Bob and Kate's as the Saints tie it up.
Hernandez on for the Hammers
Stuart Armstrong with his and Saints second
Pellegrini is having a go by sticking Chicha on.
Two shots on target for United
TWO
I can't give any mojo to Fulham today - it's all needed for my boys.
Motherwell doing really well: Three up vs Aberdeen
Will Bob or Kate get the hat-trick?
Wsaall two up vs the Black Cats. UWS will be delighted and Fred not so much
The Real Dons tie it up vs Southend, but remain bottom.
Great day for Pompey so far!!
Bristol City down to ten men
Oh - Antonio should have scored there. Just hit the post.
OH!!! How did Antonio miss that chance.Nice tackle then nice through ball from Chicha, but Antonio shot into the side netting with just the keeper to beat
Antonio hits the post... that needs to go in
Of course, City get credit for the West Ham chance
"If it were City, that would be in the net"
Lovely!
Luton two up at the Gils.
Everton take the lead vs Cardiff
St. Helen Mirren two up vs Hearts
United have had another goal chalked off. Yashley had the ball in the net but Lukaku was in an offside position.
Tangerines three up vs Richard Burton while Donny Trump takes the lead at Barnsley in the second south Yorkshire Derby of the day
Im more interested in the Only Fools episode that is on Gold right now. They become millionaires in this episode
I know you guys never got into it but they are great shows
Bob gave me a CD set once... I love it!
Siggy has put Everton 1-0 up over woeful Cardiff.
Siggy with the goal for the Toffees.
What do you mean another one?
Palace had a goal chalked off
I'm glad you've enjoyed it, mate.
Sorry, my mistake.
I think that's the first disallowed goal for United . The Coyote had a disallowed goal for Palace.
Now they are going gaga over the City keeper's kicks
PSG takes the lead vs Toulouse, who are expected to in the French capital.
Canaries 1-4 up at the liberty. Bob not going gaga over that City team either.
Did Mbappe and Neymar play?
They both went off hurt midweek!
Fulham 3-2 up... Bob beats Kate for the htrick
Watford should have had a pen
Kate with a hatrick in Claudio's first match in charge. Now 3-2 ahead vs the Saints./
Did Kate show Desmond out the front door or back door?
I think United Watford was only available on Gold earlier in the season but I was in Naples at wedding.
I can't remember the last time I couldn't watch United
It was Bob's hat-trick!
Wow! Why aren't we watching that match from Craven Cottage - a right old ding dong.
Fortuna Dusseldorf ties it up at Bayern . Now 3-3. Dortmund remain top, leading 1-2 at Mainz in a match between Klopp's former clubs
Stoke 2-1 up vs QPR
CLOSE!
Man Utd 0-0 Crystal Palace
United are treading water at Old Trafford.
Again, they have goalkeeper David de Gea to thank, flying low to his right to deny Cheikhou Koyate's long range effort and blocking Patrick van Aanholt's follow up.
Teemu Pukki with the latest Norwich goal. Do they have any English players playing for them? John Bond would not be amused.
What's going on at the Cottage?
Forest take the lead at Hull
