Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

World Cup Trivia Question of the Week

In order to stave off the World Cup withdrawal, here's a trivia question:

What country has provided the most coaches in this year's World Cup? How many are there from that country? Who are they and what countries are they coaching?

Go to it lads!

Without puting too much thought into it, I would say Brazil!
They have their own, Scolari of Portugal and Zico of Japan for a total of three.
I know there are few Germans... Germany, Togo and Trinidad. So, maybe Brazil is not right. Could be dutch?
Have I ruined it for everyone.
I know it is not Englishman, there are none!!!

Well done, it is Brazil. They have five coaches in the tournament. You named three of them - Parreira, Scolari and Zico. Can you get the other two?

You're also right that the Dutch are runners up with four coaches.

Also, did you know that there are no British coaches in this year's tournament? Interesting. That might change if we win the thing!
