Materazzi Gets Banned!
Yes! FIFA has finally pulled it finger out and has banned the thuggish Azurri man for two matches for what everyone imagines was unspeakable racist provocation in the Zidane headbutting incident. The lads at 365 think he's been hard done by - what about you lot?

No he's not been hard done by at all. He deserved this punishment.
But FIFA look like idiots again and I just wonder how much more of Blatter's reign we can take. Zidane got punished too for I dunno, parities sake?
If they were serious about knocking back racism, why not a ban that at least matches the one they handed out to Mihailovic a few years ago? Two matches and a paltry fine is not sending a resounding message.
I look on this cop-out as yet another indictment of Blatter's corrupt reign and am looking forward to the day that the fat swiss pissant fecks off for good.
