Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

I'm happy to see that Palace are playing the dreaded 4-5-1 with only Jamie Scowcroft - who I've never really thought of as an out and out attacker - up front, whereas we're playing the traditional 4-4-2 with Horse and Healey suiported by Eddie Lewis out wide. We've had the best of the early going.
Oh dear oh dear, Geoff Horsfield has been sent off for an off the ball incident. The referee didn't see it but after consulting with the linesman he's been sent off.
And now he's giving the verbals to the linesman as he's going off. That won't help his case.
That'll unfortunately mean a reversion to the 4-5-1 for the time being. Let's hope that Robbie Blake's ready to go at some point.
Apparently the rain is just sheeting down now. That won't help an open game.
We're actually not doing badly, mainly because of the negativity of Palace. You'd think that they'd really have a go at us now that we're down to ten men, but they're still letting us play.
Eddie Lewis has hit the post and Healey just went close with a deflected shot.
Half-time: 0-0. The red card incident and the rain have conspired to kill off this game. I'll take one in off the proverbial bum for a scrappy win, of course, but let's hope the Community Shield offers more entertainment.
Unfortunately it's Palace that have started more brightly in the second half. They've got Dougie Friedman on now as a second striker and are overrunning us. We also look suspiciously weak on set pieces.
Oh, surely Shaun Derry should've put us in front from a corner there.
60 Minutes: Surely it's time for Blackwell to make a change. There are some tired legs out there.
I suppose I'll have to settle on a draw now, given the sending off offense.
Oh, no, Clinton Morrison's coming on for a bit more attacking bite - Palace are going for it!
Eddie Lewis is coming off. Why? He's been our best player with lung busting runs and that one shot against the post.
In any case, Frazer Richardson is on.
And now Ian Moore is coming on to provide more cover - Healey is coming off.
Our reserve keeper Tony Warner is keeping us in this one - another brilliant save.
Goal: 1-0 Palace; Clinton Morrison has just killed us off. We struggled through 88 minutes with ten men and then threw it away with only minutes to go. Typical.
