Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Footie Riddle of the Week

In an effort to get the mojo working for Wednesday's match-up with Macedonia, here's a trivia question about England scorers. In the past twenty years, there have been seven England players who've scored hat-tricks in either competitive or friendly matches. Name them. (Bonus points if you can remember the matches.)

There's at least two more obvious ones and then one that's a bit more difficult. Obviously Lineker and Owen have had several hat-tricks. But well done so far.

Bryan Robson - Turkey
Luther Blissett- Luxembourg
Both of these were over twenty years though.

Owen has done it twice- Colombia(in the US)was his other.
Linekar did it against Turkey

Can I have banger?

Luther Blissett?! Isn't that some Italian postmodernist literary circle? Guess again, mate.
