Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Kranjcar to Pompey is overshadowed by some of the bigger moves, but he was by far the best thing that the Croatians has this past summer.

He's a crossbar rattler by evidence of his WC showing, but was 3rd or 4th in total goals in the Bundesliga last year so he knows how to stick them in as well.

And it's going to be funny to see Beasley chopped down to size in the Prem this year. Good luck Stick-Man!

Yeah, I was thinking that too. DaMarcus doesn't really fit into the current rugged Citeh mold - I expect him to get a bollocking from Psycho nearly every weekend.

What about all those moves for Sunderland? Keano's not messing, is he?

I am very impressed with Keano's work. Not great players but some real solid ones that will help them no end.
Fergie was mighty busy, wasn't he?

Okay, I'm feeling like a complete eedjit now. Yesterday I was over the moon about the prospect of seeing Tevez and Mascherano in the Prem; now it seems obvious that this is a dirty, dirty deal.

The Guardian is reporting today that the deal was all about some shadowy consortium called MSI which Roman Abramovich has controlling stock in that owns Corinthians and is currently trying to buy the Hammers.

It's clear that Chelski is using West Ham as a feeder club. They'll test out the Argie duo this season and then pick them up in the summer. It's a way to keep them out of their competitors hands.

You know what, I'd love to see West Ham win the Premiership now. It would serve those Russian bastards right.

Our next Sunday live game from Sky Sports.
Sunday September 10th
Teams:
WEST HAM UNITED vs Aston Villa

Sky must have been behind this somehow!!! How on earth did they know that the Argies would be making their debuts? Sounds fishy.

If Chelsea are behind this, what are the chances of both of them being injured or rested when the Hammers play the Blues?
I don't care if each of them break both their legs, they better play when the teams meet.

to chime in on reptile-bob's comments, beasley to city is probably going to do wonders for the national team. i just hope the cameras are rolling the first time he starts whining after another lackluster display. come on psyho -- do one for the USofA!

Interesting thought, Dave. I'll be watching for that West Ham-Chelski fixture. When do they play?
