Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Sir Trev's in the Paper!

The ageless (look at the photo and tell me he's aged along with the rest of us-not) Johnno's interviewed in today's (Sunday, 12 December) Washington Post.

It's an excellent piece, and I love your response about helping American children in poverty. Well said Johnno.

I couldn't resist posting this message on the Post boards to baffle the editors:

"Dear Sir or Madam, I knew John Menditto, I went to school with John Menditto, John Menditto was a friend of mine - you, sir, are no John Menditto."

That should have them scratching their heads in puzzlement for a while.

Congrats, Sir Trev!

Does that mean you haven't discovered a magical elixir or done some Faustian deal with the devil? Is it a Robert Redford mask that you take off at night? Do tell. ;-}

Please send autograph asap!!!
You have always been my hero.
I am a little surprised that you didn't somehow mention the Hammers in the article.

Congrats Steve your victory.
Liverpool have to be out, right?
