Blackburn vs. Chelski Live!
With ManYoo's romping 4-1 win against Watford yesterday, this season seems to be heading for a triple-headed monster series of matches between ManYoo and Chelski. ManYoo have the treble (the Premiership title, FA Cup and Champions League) to fight for, while Chelski have an unprecedented quadruple (already won Carling Cup, title, FA Cup and Champions League) on the line.
There is just this one little hurdle today to jump over and Blackburn are no mugs, especially at Ewood Park. Should be a corker and I hope to have your company as I enjoy every kick of the ball.

Here are the sides for today's match:
Blackburn: Friedel, Emerton, Samba, Nelsen, Warnock, Bentley, Dunn, Mokoena, Pedersen, Roberts, McCarthy.
Subs: Enckelman, Kerimoglu, Henchoz, Derbyshire, Peter.
Chelsea: Cech, Essien, Carvalho, Terry, Ashley Cole, Ballack, Makelele, Lampard, Shevchenko, Drogba, Joe Cole.
Subs: Cudicini, Boulahrouz, Mikel, Kalou, Wright-Phillips.
Referee: A Wiley (Staffordshire)
And we're off....
Looking forward to a high scoring encounter here.
An early free-kick opportunity for Blackburn comes to nought as Cech is fouled. He seems particularly well protected by referees since his horrific injury earlier this season.
Sheva beats the Blackburn offside trap for the first time but couldn't find Drogs in the box.
Sheva and Ballack have been widely perceived as failures even by the Shed End faithful, but if Chelski win even two of the four trophies on the line, no one will care.
Sharp strike there by Cashley, well saved by the ever consistent Brad Friedel.
Chelski seem well up for this one today; it really helps them to have Joe Cole back in the side.
GOAL! Frank Lampard's 21st goal of the campaign. It was really all about Drogba's strength as a target man holding up the ball from the clearance, laying off to Bollocks who slid through for the on-running Lamps who couldn't miss. Good goal. 1-0 Chelski!
Ohhh, Joe Cole should've had Chelski's second there. Drogba again created the chance off his chest this time and Joe Cole had the kind of volley chance from the penalty spot that Alan Smith finished off for ManYoo in mid-week. He's a bit rusty, no doubt.
Approaching the half-hour mark and Chelski seem in complete control of this tie. Blackburn will really have to change things at half-time if they're to have any chance here. Chelski should be two or three up already and should go on to run up a cricket score today.
And speaking of the cricket, it's the Wooden Spoon division in today's match - Ireland vs. Bangladesh. Ireland have no points so far in the Super Eights but have started well at bat today. It would be nice to see them nick a game.
England are next up on Tuesday with an absolutely crucial match against South Africa. If they win that one, they could hop over S. Africa into fourth spot.
A flashpoint there with Makelele sliding into Benni McCarthy, who's still down on the mat while Chelski play on.
Half-time comes with Chelski still 1-0. Blackburn might have had an equalizer right before half-time, but they're still up against it. You fancy Chelski to run up more goals. Surely Matt Derbyshire will get a run out in the second half?
Oh, Sheva surely should have stuck that one away. Drogba lays it up on a tee for the Ukrainian and he completely bollixes it up. What a miss!
And Blackburn nearly make Chelski pay for Sheva's profligacy there; Cech saving well from a Jason Roberts drive. Several corners raining in on the Chelski goal now.
GOAL! Roberts! It's 1-1! Well, well, well, just when I was writing Blackburn off, they're back. Roberts with a simple tap in while the Chelski backfour were napping.
For once "the Special One" got it wrong, substituting Sheva right before a corner, a cardinal sin.
So close there for Pederson, a free header, and he missed badly. Sparky on the sideline is thinking, "I'd have had that one!"
It's a thrilling Cup tie that seems destined now to go to extra time and perhaps penalties.
Full-time: 1-1; And I'm sure that the happiest campers about this match are Sir Alex, who's in the stands, and his merry band of Red Devilers.
We now head into an energy-sapping extra time period. Plenty of chances to win this one but few takers.
Dangerous free kick for Chelski here....Drogs lining it up....
and it's complete rubbish.
GOAL! Chelski 2-1! Bollocks with a priceless goal there. It was all about the fresh legs of SWP, latching onto a ball from Lamps and cutting it back from the bye line. Kallou had a bite and it bobbled to a welcoming Bollocks who lashed it home.
Chelski seem to be full of energy now, with Kallou and SWP having just come on. I think the "Special One" has won the battle of the coaches. Surely some subs would've helped Blackburn.
And finally Matt Derbyshire has come on. A bit late there, Sparky. I reckon if he'd come on around the 80th minute, Blackburn might have been able to kill the tie off.
A tremendous strike there by Essien strikes the bar with a thundering ricochet. Amazing!
Five minutes left and a match that for about ten minutes seemed to swing Blackburn's way is now slipping away from them.
Full-Time: Chelski 2-1!
So, May 19th, ManYoo vs. Chelski at the new Wembley - the dream final.
In the Premiership, Wigan drew 3-3 in a thriller with Spurs, while Charlton stayed within reach of West Ham by losing agonizingly to a brilliant McFadden strike in the 91st minute. Keep on believing Sir Trev!
Hi fellas, I am back.
So it is Chelsea vs Manchester United.
There is a slight chance that I may buy that one!!!
Welcome back, lad!
