Here are the fixtures for today in the Premiership:
Arsenal v Bolton
Man City v Liverpool
Middlesbro' v Aston Villa
Portsmouth v Newcastle
Reading v Fulham
Sheff Utd v West Ham
Here we go!
FSC is showing a dud - Citeh vs. Pool. Should've had the Blades vs. WHU or Bolton vs. Arsenal matches. They're the ones that mean something.
First goal of the day goes to Leicester who are 1-0 up on Norwich.
Keano's Sunderland are flying.....
They're one up at QPR, ta very much.
And now Plymouth are one up at Luton. It's all looking good right now.
First goal in the Prem - Benjani has popped one in for Pompey against Newcastle.
More goals in the Coke....
Preston are 1-0 against Coventry. And Derby have taken the lead at Ipswich to keep the pressure on Sunderland at the top.
Arsenal's poor form continues.....
Old boy Nicolas Anelka has scored for Bolton.
In the relegation dogfight of the day in the Coke, Barnsley have taken the lead against Southend. I think a draw is the best result for us in that one.
Fulham sacked Cookie Coleman this week and replaced him with Lawrie Sanchez, but it hasn't seemed to work. Reading are in front at Fulham.
Crystal Palace and Wolves have scored two quick goals - 1-1.
And Boro have taken the lead against Villa. Lots of goals today.
Still no score in those crucial West Ham and Leeds games although both sides are aquitting themselves well.
Preston now 2-0 up against Coventry.
YESSSSS! Matty Heath has put Leeds one up against Burnley. We're now tied with Hull on 45 points.
QPR have equalized against Sunderland. That puts them on 49 points.
Bollocks! Hull have taken the lead. So four of the six strugglers are leading. It happens every week.
And now Barnsley have doubled their lead - what do we have to do to catch a break here?
Ipswich and Derby have each had players sent off for fighting, so it's down to ten vs. ten there.
Tomas Rosicky has levelled things at Ashburton Grove against Bolton - good lad!
Birmingham have scored against Soton...so there are goals in all of the Coke matches this afternoon.
Meanwhile Citeh and Pool are boring the pants off us.
Sorry Sir Trev.....
Sheffield United have taken the lead in the Premiership survival contest with West Ham.
The Hatters are nearly relegated now....
Plymouth two nil up.
Citeh win a dangerous free kick and Ball lofts it over everyone and into touch. Story of the first half.
Half time whistles going around the country. Leeds are in the lead but so are many around them.
But Come on you Hammers - the second half has to be better!
Second half starting.....
Come on you Whites!
Come on you Hammers!
In the Cricket World Cup, South Africa have started slowly against the Kiwis. That would be an excellent result for England, who need wins against South Africa and the Windies to secure that fourth spot.
Goal at the Emirates and its young Cesc Fabregas who've put Arsenal 2-1 up in that vital match for Champions League quaification.
And Barnsley are now 3-0 up against the Shrimpers who are edging toward relegation. It's now up to Colchester to turn it around against Hull.
Preston now 3-0 up against Coventry.
Luton have a glimmer of a hope.....
They're pegged Plymouth back to 2-1.
Pompey now 2-0 up through another Matty Taylor cracker.
The Shrimpers have pulled one back against Barnsley - can it be a Great Escape?
Ah bollocks! Phil Jagielka has increased Sheffield United's lead to 2-0.
That's better! Colchester have levelled it against Hull. One more, lads!
This match we're watching is desperate for the entrance of Peter Crouch...and it looks like he's coming on.
Sheffield United are now 3-0 up against the Hammers - sorry, Sir Trev.
Ten minutes left for Leeds to hang on to this lead. Come on, lads. No late goals please.
Sunderland have got a late goal against QPR - well done!
The bore fest at the City of Manchester Stadium ends 0-0.
And the Leeds boys hang on for that precious 1-0 win. Well done, boys! We're on 45 points now.
Congratulations to Davey's ManYoo boys, who made it to the first ever Cup Final at the new Wembley Stadium by thumping Watford 4-1. The treble is still on!
Now we'll have to see if Chelski can keep the quadruple alive tomorrow!
Oh dear. See what happens when I start to care again. I swear I don't know who causes who more pain. Back to wishing for a home and home with LUFC in the Coke!
