Footie Trivia Question of the Week
"Name the four European club sides who have won a proper treble (i.e. top-flight domestic championship, European Cup and highest level knock-out competition (e.g. FA Cup). Clubs and years, please."
Good luck, lads!
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

UHHHHH...
MANCHESTER UNITED 1999(and 2007)
Celtic 1967
Maybe Red Star Belgrade? Year?
Bayern Munich? Early seventies?
No points for getting ManYoo's treble in 99 (and it's a bit premature to talk of 2007, mate.)
Still, points for getting Celtic's "Lisbon Lions" from 1967.
Not Red Star and not Bayern. Think great teams from lesser leagues because that combination gives sides a better chance at a treble.
How about Steaua B in like '86 and
Porto in '87
Nope, sorry. But good guesses.
I cheated!!!
Ajax in '72
and PSV in '88
Bloody Dutch!!!
Yeah, it's got to be a useless league and a couple of great clubs. Ajax won a string of trophies with that Cryuff led team in the early 70s but only one treble. It's still on for you lot.
