Premiership Live!
Another Saturday has magically rolled around again and all eyes are set on the big one - Arsenal vs. United - which is unfortunately the early Setanta game today. I'll be following along on Football365. The clocks have already gone back in the U.K. so they're an hour closer to us than usual, so the FSC coverage starts at 11 rather than 10 this morning. Enjoy your football this weekend, lads.

Here are the sides for today's match:
Arsenal: Almunia, Sagna, Toure, Gallas, Clichy, Eboue, Fabregas, Flamini, Rosicky, Hleb, Adebayor. Subs: Lehmann, Diarra, Eduardo, Silva, Walcott.
Man Utd: Van der Sar, Brown, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Ronaldo, Anderson, Hargreaves, Giggs, Tevez, Rooney. Subs: Kuszczak, Saha, Carrick, Nani, O'Shea.
Arsenal start the same side that drew with Liverpool last weekend, while Sir Alex once again fields a side that includes no out and out strikers.
Early intent from Arsenal who attack down the left wing straight from the kick-off. The in-form Alexander Hleb tries to win a corner off Rio Ferdinand but fails and United have possession.
Very cagey opening from both sides.
A lot of early Arsenal possession through Cesc Fabregas, but to little effect so far.
Cristiano Ronaldo shaves the post with a header from a Ryan Giggs corner, but the referee had already blown his whistle for a push from the United midfielder. That looked a little harsh but it went wide anyway.
Not much to choose between the sides coming up on half-time. A draw seems a logical result today unless something dramatic happens.
GOAL! ROONEY! Right on half-time Rooney breaks the deadlock. Brown makes a decent run down the right, fires in a low cross to Rooney who finds the net via the desperate boot of Gallas.
Half-time: With virtually the last touch of the match, Rooney takes his side in one-up. Arsenal had much of the play in the first half, but they'll have to make it count in the second half.
GOAL! FABREGAS! Arsenal equalise within minutes of the restart and it's that man Fabregas who just cannot stop scoring. Eboue chipped a lovely ball through to Adebayor who was smothered by the onrushing Van der Sar. Sagna kept the move alive and picked out Fabregas, who had a simple job scoring his 11th of the season.
It's been a cracking match, very end to end. Fifteen minutes left for a hero to emerge.
Theo Walcott is on for Eboue in an attacking change for the Arse.
Both sides have used all their subs now, as Hleb and Rosicky are replaced by Eduardo and Gilberto.
Hey I am home from the last REC SOCCER
UNITED JUST SCORED!@!!!!!
RONALDO!!!!
Ten minutes to go at the Emirates.
Hey Dave! Well done your boys. The Gooner, who's visiting this weekend, won't be pleased.
Come on United, hold on!!!
Sorry Steve, but Arsenal like to score late goals against my lot
From 365: "GOAL! RONALDO! Evra makes a super run and beats Almunia to the ball, who was quick to abandon his goal again, and this time the full-back finds Ronaldo who has an empty net to find and he makes no mistake."
I am listening to the match on ManUtd .com. The Arse almost get one back
Adebayor mis hits a shot from Eduardo's low cross but the ball comes and hits Evra and hits the top of the bar. PHEW
West Ham are the only team to beat The Arse at the Em.
That's right.
It looks like The Arse have scored.
United thought they saved it off the line but the replay shows it was a goal.
All tied.
Gallas with the goal
Fair result?
Terrible defending by United I guess
I guess it is.
A minute left of injury time
Of course, I am not happy to give away a goal in the first minute of stoppage time.
It is over.
Now let's concentrate on The Mighty Leeds beating Carlisle
Soccernet says that the goal looked controversial but the replay showed it was a great call from the linesman
Gooner and I are off to the Swamp to see the Gators take on Vandy in the Homecoming Game. Catch up with you later, mate!
Wow, have a great time.
How are you going to follow Leeds?
Do you want me to call you?

With everything happening at St. James', I just noticed that Everton have scored against Brum and Chelski have scored at Wigan with a Lampard goal
Still goalless at Brunton Park
What have the Dalhgren brothers missed. THREE POMPEY GOALS IN THE OPENING 11 MINUTES!!!
Owen gets one back... no it is an own goal by Campbell.
3-1. What a corker, not even fifteen minutes gone
Chelski are looking ominous. They are two up at Wigan
FROM THE BEEB
This game is bonkers!!!

Fulham have scored at home to Reading
Pompey should have a pen. It was a handball. Not given
This match is so wide open!!!

From the beeb
1552: "I told the guys we had to fight until the end and if we have to die we will die together. I think today we showed everybody we can die."
Arsenal captain William Gallas after the 2-2 draw with Manchester Unit
Second half underway
Reading have equalized at Craven Cottage.
I saw on Skysports that if the games ended at half time, Fulham would be on TOP
I missed the equalizer for Boro against Spurs
So much for a clean sheet for Derby. Villa have scored
Villa score another
Bugger, Carlisle have equalized after the hour mark
Portsmouth score number 4. Straight from a free kick. It may have taken a deflection but it should have been cleared!!
Fulham have taken the lead again against Reading
Dempsey with the goal for the Cottagers
Uh oh, Carlisle have taken the lead with 20 minutes to go
Great save from James.
Bob, I just read your beginning comment.
What do you mean "no out and out striker"? We don't really have one but we have still scored 18 goals in five games.
Birmingham tie it up at Goodison
Last ten minutes... LEEDS TIME
Cambridge score late at Torquay. Wonder if Basil is there?
Fulham score again to take a 3-1 lead. Leeds old boy Healy with the goal
Boro and Spurs end up tied
Chelsea win 2-0
Everton score a late winner against Brum
Pompey win 4-1
Cambridge hold on for the win
Late Red Card for Fulham.
Everton score a third.
On the Beeb is said
1647: Famous last words... but I think the Premier League has run out of goals today.
After it is poste, THREE MORE GOALS
Everton win 3-1 with two very late goals.
Bad news at Brunton Park.
Carlisle score a late third and the streak is over for Leeds. Great run for the Whites has finally come to an end after 14 matches. They are in 9th and still only three points off the playoffs. Start a new streak.
Of course Bob, it could be your fault. You chose the Gators over the Whites!!!
Missed everyone today.
Take care everyone.
Dave
Thanks for the comments, Dave. Yes, I did choose the Homecoming Game over following Leeds on the Internet this afternoon and paid for it. But I've never seen a game at the Swamp and it was pretty special. Beautiful fall afternoon, great seats and the Gators handed out a real hammering to Vandy.
What I meant by mentioning that United don't have an out-and-out striker in their squad apart from Saha who's crocked is that it will be quite unique for a side to win a championship without one. Are you going to argue that Rooney or Tevez or Ronaldo or Scholes is a true #9? I don't think you can.
True, we had VNR and now we don't
Congrats to your Revies!!!
What a year for New England!!
The Red Sox have won.
The Celtics are becoming good.
The Patriots are rolling.
Boston College are ranked #2
The Revolution could win it all!!!
Well, so much for Boston College!!
