Top Ten Irritating Phrases
The Telegraph has a list of the top 10 irritating phrases.
I can hear Jose Mourinho saying all of these.

We deserved something from the game
I agree with Dave; the ones that he mentions are much more irritating because they're indicative of the diseases afflicting English football - lack of imagination, the emphasis on grafting, defensiveness, etc. In contrast, the ones mentioned in the Torygraph article are merely linguistic place-savers. Let's be honest, these are relatively uneducated young people who are sent out in front of cameras to essentially say nothing at all.
