But no worries - Skippy as usual escaped real harm and hitched a ride in Edwin van der Sar's Bentley - really, I can't make this stuff up - and later participated in training.

I read that he walked away unscathed and won't miss being in the starting 11 this weekend.
There's a lot of carbon-fibre in the shell of a Ferrari and the aftermath of a prang of any consequence looks bloody awful.
Fortunately, Ferrari designs their sportscars so that in city driving conditions, the front end crumples against itself and protects the driver from crush injury. At really high speeds of course, just the kinetic energy of the crash causes massive trauma.
The tall one from Top Gear always praises the Italians for knowing that the kind of prat that drops $400K on a car will prang it.
I knew Top Gear was a great show.
I think he may be in trouble with his speed but it wasn't drinking.
