Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Confederations Cup 2009

Just when the missus thought it was safe to hand you the "Honey Do" list of summer errands, here comes the Confederations Cup. Sure, it's a bogus event that FIFA cooked up in order to promote the upcoming World Cups in the off years, but we don't don't have to admit that, do we chaps? The action kicks off tomorrow with two Group A matches:

South Africa vs. Iraq (10 a.m. EST)
Spain vs. New Zealand (2:30 p.m. EST)

Looks like the Deuce for tomorrow and Monday morning. The U.S. vs. Italy game isn't on the Deuce - maybe ESPN itself? We'll probably find out tomorrow.

FSC seem to be taking the summer off again - they were showing Liverpool vs. Chelski from 1999 earlier today. Honestly!
