Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

I've got a terrific link up for the match through VSS Channel 4.
The surprise in the Leeds line-up today is the absence of Jermaine Beckford. Not even listed among the substitutes. He was substituted at half time on Saturday, so I'm worried that that may indicate an injury.
Oooh, Becchio could have finished that on target. A good chance set up by Snoddy there.
Good start for us. A free kick now in the 9th minute.
Oooh, Becchio had a free header there. But he was ruled offside.
The commentators are informing us that we will go straight to penalties if the sides are drawn on aggregate. Away goals do not count.
All Leeds possession. This looks good. We're playing well.
The Carlisle crowd are a bit restless, urging their side to push up and deny us possession.
Everything is being aimed at Becchio tonight - definitely the main target man. And why not? He's scored three goals in the past two matches.
Fifteen minutes in now and I'm very pleased with the performance. We really haven't played this well since Old Trafford in early January.
Max Gradel seems to be tucking in behind Becchio in the hole. Snoddy is again playing wide right, which I don't really understand given his left-footed leaning. He tends to have to turn back in on his left peg.
I've got my lucky Leeds shirt on today underneath the work outfit. We'll see how things go.
Naylor's getting a bollocking from the ref now. One more foul and he'll be in the book.
Free kick in from Carlisle....
And punched out by big Casper.
I fear that Lubo isn't really a reasonable substitute for Patrick Kisnorbo at the back.
Gradel gets free on the right but his ball in can't find Becchio.
Oh dear - I've lost my link.
I'm back up and running through Justin, albeit without any sound.
Half an hour gone now. A goal would be very nice.
We certainly don't look like we're going to concede a goal tonight. Carlisle haven't had a shot on goal yet. It's just a matter of whether we can stick two in at their end.
And of course, as I say that, the Carlisle striker rounds big Casper and sticks their opener in. Bugger!
Carlisle now 3-1 up on aggregate. We're up against it now.
We surely need a goal back before the interval if we're to have any chance of winning this thing now.
Five minutes left of the half...
I've lost this link now.
I'm back up again. Only a few minutes left for us to get back in this game before Grayson rattles the teacups at half time.
The distressing thing about this recent loss of form is that we were turning over sides like Carlisle for fun back in the fall. Now it seems as if we can't buy a win.
Free header for Max Gradel there. Squandered.
The commentators were fully expected us to romp it tonight. I wonder what they're saying now. No volume on this stream. Just as well....
Half-time: Well, the first fifteen minutes were quite promising, but Carlisle's goal really has us rocked back on our heels. It's going to take some real inspiration from Simon to get us back on track in this tie.
Blast, I was hoping for an early goal to build upon for you lot. Plenty of time yet, but a hard road now.
Cheers, Gooner!
Teams back out after the half time interval. We'll need a very early goal now.
YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!
And there it is! Snoddy with the equalizer on the night. We're back in it.
That's Snoddy's ninth goal of the season. He's second top scorer.
I'd probably have Johnson and Grella on for Mickey Doyle and McSheffry before long.
Great stuff from the Leeds fans in the crowd now, swirling their yellow scarves about.
Real end to end stuff now.
In the southern final, the Saints are 2-0 up on aggregation and heading to Wembley.
Hi Bob,
I am here.
Fingers crossed!
Darren Bent has stuck in a penalty for Sunderland away to hapless Pompey.
Welcome, Dave!
Wigan are 1-0 up.
Citeh have a pen.....
1-0. Tevez with the goal.
An hour gone. Time for some changes, Simon.
Saints now 3-0 on aggregate. They're going to Wembley for sure.
Here comes the first change for us. Brad Johnson coming on. I like that.
My Leeds link is frozen now...
Neil Kilkenny has come on for Jon Howson.
Oooh, that should have been our second goal. Great ball in from Snoddy, headed back across the area by Kilkenny but no one was there to finish it.
I had to leave again and now I am back
How much time left?
Fulham are beating Burnley
Bugger! Carlisle's second on the lead.
4-2 on aggregate. Curtain?
About fifteen minutes left - not enough time.
I can't find a working link for Leeds.
Both atdhe links and VSS aren't working
Carlisle just scored again!!
I just got SS on
To add insult, the geezer running the Justin site has switched over to the Citeh v. Bolton match.
Still have the VSS stream of Tuesday Special on though.
Yeah - VSS worked for about ten minutes at the beginning of the match before packing in. I was on a bad Justin link with no volume. That's switched over to Citeh now.
We're leaking far too many goals with Kisnorbo out for injury.
The Dons have pegged the Saints back to 2-1 on the night - still 3-1 on aggregate.
Fulham score their second
Burnley are in real trouble now.
They just beat West Ham... so what about the Hammers!
Dean Windass is singing. Don't give up the day job, Dean.
Definitely the Hammers are deep in it.
Pompey are losing at home to Sunderland!
Fulham now 2-0 up!
Avram is not a happy chappy right now
Another goal... 2-2!!!!!!!
YESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!
Jason Crowe with our second on the night. What a ding dong!
4-3 on aggregate. 10 minutes left!
One more goal needed to tie it up
10 to go
Away goals are irrelevant
Not even extra time! Straight to pens!
Grayson rolling the big dice now. Center back Richard Naylor off and nippy American forward Mike Grella on. It's on!
Straight to pens - that's right.
Burnley haven't won away from home in the top league since at Newcastle in 1976!!
We're getting loads of snow right now. You?
Newcastle and Forest both losing away
WBA are winning at home
Ipswich two up at Loftus Road.... they really need that win!
NOTHING!!!
Just wait - it's coming.
No it's not. We're not getting anything. Everything is south of us
YESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!
Get the cocoa on!
2-3 on the night. 4-4 on agg.
Mike Grella - supersub!
LEEDS SCORE!!!
THE YANK SCORES
I GOT THE ATDHE LINK JUST AS THEY ARE CELEBRATING
Grella's fifth goal of the season - all of them off the bench.
ATHDE link number 1 is working strong
Corner to Carlisle... cleared
89th minute
Oooh, Grella nearly seals it, saved by the keeper. We're giving it a go!
Free kick chance for Leeds to left of the box
Ref should have played advantage
Chance for a good cross
Thanks for the link.
Free kick now....
Dangerous but punched out.
Cleared for a throw in
5 added minutes
I'm not sure that Grayson cares about the JPT but the players certainly do. What character!
I want that bloke's jacket. Bright yellow with Leeds badges all over.
We could win this one in regular time. That would be my preference.
I thought you would!
Come on Leeds, break quick... saved!
USELESS corner
We haven't been involved in a penalty shoot-out for ages, so I'm not sure who would take them. JB isn't on the pitch tonight, so you'd have to think:
Becchio
Snoddy
Gradel
Johnson
Grella maybe?
2 and half to go til pens
As I joined the link, they said the New Yorker. Do you know where in NY he came from?
McSheffrey should have done better there!
Great stuff from Grella there. He's up for it.
That should do it
Can anyone say penalties?
Leeds fighting with each other!!!
Grow up!
Lucky they weren't sent off
Penalties it is
Fingers crossed and best of luck
Handbags between Gradel and McSheffrey
Oh good - they're showing the goals again. I only saw the first two.
Terrible defending there from Michalik.
Wikipedia says that Mike Grella was born in Glen Cove, New York. No idea where that is.
North Shore of Long Island, apparently.
And now for the penalties!
Just looked it up
Long Island
Did they have to mention the Man Utd score again??
Carlisle up first
1-0
First up - our old boy Ian Harte!
1-0 Carlisle.
Brad Johnson....
Missed. Bugger!
Saved!!
I'll leave the rest to you
Fingers crossed
Good save, tbf.
Kevin Hurst up....
2-0 Carlisle. Another good pen.
Snoddy next......
Easy. 2-1
3-1 Carlisle.
John Terry time
McSheffrey....
Just. In the corner. 3-2.
THERE IT IS!!
OH YESSSSS! I like that penalty.
3-2 still.
Grella now.....
Lovely pen. Level again at 3-3.
3-3!
Well done Yank
I like that it always see that the first team that misses still wins
4-3
4-3 Carlisle.
Must score... he does!!
Beautiful Pen
Gradel....
4-4!
Anelka time
Bugger - 5-4.
Neil Kilkenny.
Cool 5-5
Must score.... he does!
Now Anelka time.... where are you VDS
Casper nearly got that. Still 6-5.
All have been good pens except the high one
6-5
Saved
Sorry mate!!!!
And that's it. Lowry misses and covers his head with his shirt with shame. No Wembley Way for us this season.
One Word

So it's all on promotion now. The Orient at home on Saturday. Bring it on!
