We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!
I didn't have a moment to post yesterday, so I want to take the time to wish all of you a belated Thanksgiving greeting. What's your favorite element of the inevitable Turkey Day leftovers. To my mind, there's nothing better than a day afternoon Thanksgiving sandwich with leftover turkey, dressing and cranberry all smashed together. How about the rest of you?

Bob . . . that has always been my favorite . . . TDC smashed together . . . and a large wedge of homemade apple pie . . .
We had hot turkey sandwiches. We toasted the bread, put the turkey in the sandwich, and put gravy on top. That is a tradition in our household. We had leftover pecan pie, pumpkin pie, and banana bread in the evening.
Oh yeah - the pie selections here were most excellent. Apple-caramel and sweet potato crunch. Wow!
