Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

I'm going to a pub for the Everton match, you gentlemen have a great morning.
-Ed
The matched has kicked off at Goodison Park. It is 0-0 with four minutes played.
The Toffees had a free kick just outside the penalty area as Clichy fouled the tricky Coleman. Arteta shot into the wall.
Both teams had scoring opportunities.Nasri played a one-two with Song , then dribbled half the length of the pitch before Distin cam in with an important block. Nasri took the corner, but it was cleared and Coleman dribbled the length of the pitch to cross to Cahill who headed wide with just Flappy to beat.
YIKES... what kind of picture did you use!!
Good morning.
I will be in and out this morning.
You know who I want to win in both games... I don't see it happening
Good morning UWS.My apologies for the picture. It is an EPL logo. I tried to shorten the lenth and was unsuccessful.Still 0-0 at Goodison Park as Jagielka came in with an important tackle on Wilshere.
Don't worry.
Our Blog Commissioner will fix it when he awakes in the MIle High City
Thanks UWS. Koscielny is serving the finall match of a two game ban for receiving two red cards this season. The Gunners have four reds in total already. Old habits are hard to break.
Everyone said that Fab should have seen a red last week. Arsene actually SAW it but said that Fab apologized so it is okay. I don't mind the tackling but stop complaining when it happens to you Arsene
I called it yesterday!!
Andy Carroll has a groin injury and may not be able to play!!
I agree. His players are just as guilty as his opponents. I did notice that he did not complain about Wilshere's red earlier this season.
well done,UWS.You should become a fortune teller. do you predict any other injuries? Cap made some interesting squad selections. I understanding giving youth a chance, but why Bothroyd?
The Arse take the lead. Not sure if Howard should have let that inside the front post
Sagna is the scorer
My link is about three minutes behind yours as The Gunners just scored. That was Sagna's second career goal for the Gunners. I thought Timmy made a good save before Sagna scored
sorry mate
I am on 42 min on

I am upset about Carroll. I wanted him to play
1 added minute and Everton have a corner
I will go to that link in the second half. Thanks , UWS.
Almost in at the back post but the Arse survive
That's it
Half time and Steve will be pleased
United are now in third
The Gunners did have a scare in the final seconds as there was a Flappy moment in the final seconds of the half.
Good to hear the sky half time show
We are off for the second half
Rodwell on for the Toffees
The second has begun as Jack Rodwell is on for Heitinga. That is a more positive move and Heitinga is on a yellow.
Two nil!!
Fabregas with a nice turn and shot...surely game over
Everton get the ball in the net but it was called back for a foul outside the D
I agree. That was a great finish by Cesc and great work by Denilson who had just come on as a sub. That was poor defending by Everton .
Arteta or Baines to take it... Baines over the wall but easily saved by Flappy
Fab in the book... unluckily on replay
It is still St. Mirren 0 Celtic 0 five minutes into the second half.
Nice saving tackle by Jags
Nice move by Everton but hit over the bar by Rodwell
A great tackle by Jagielka that prevented a third Arsenal goal
Rodwell should have done better.
Everton need a goal soon or it is over
Nasri with a nice run and shot but saved by Timmy
Chamack misses from two yards
The Gunners are in full control as Timmy saves well from Nasri, then Chamakh shoots over from two yards. The Gunners should have been three goals ahead.
Commentator says about United coming back from two down yesterday and Everton doing the same to United... still not over
It is still 0-0 between St. Mirren and Celtic( a minor surprise).
It is 0-0 late in the first half between Swansea and Middlesbrough.
Pienaar blasted straight at Flappy about 25 yards from goal.

Sunderland's last victory at the Bridge was when Peter Reid was their manager.
Sunderland have done most of the attacking , but neither keeper has been forced to make a save.
Sunderland clear the corner from Malouda ( the first of the match).
Sorry, I was out taking the dog for a walk. I am now out doing leaves. I will pop in once in a while
Chelski had two great opportunities. First, Anelka was put through after a nice long ball from Mikkel, but Gordon did well to block from Anelka. A minute later, Jerkoff weaved his way through the Sunderland defense, but shot wide with just Gordon to beat.
Welcome back, UWS. We are fortunate that the only time we need to rake leaves is in December. I imagine that the fall season would be a busy time of the year for raking leaves in the northeastern part of the U.S.
I was not guilty of a typo. Mikkel actually hit a wonderful long pass to Anelka. IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED!!!
Dorgba wins a corner off of Onuha.
Drogba hits a poor corner that is cleared, then Ramires forces a save from Gordon with a header about 25 yards from goal. It is highly unusual to attempt a headed goal from that distance.
Drogba is fouled by Turner after a nice step over. Turner is booked.
The free kick is about 25 yards from goal. The free kick is deflected over by the wall for a corner.

Chelski have outscored their opponents 39-0 in the last nine home matches . An incredible statistic.
Cech makes another save from Welbeck who really should have scored when put through.
The corner from Zenden is eventually cleared after a scramble in the penalty area.
Ivanovic is booked for fouling Welbeck when he was through. He should have been sent off for denying a goal scoring opportunity.
Stevie Bruce is livid and is letting Andre Mariner, the fourth official, have it.
Gyan heads wide from the free kick.
GOAL!!! 0-1 TO SUNDERLAND AS ONUHA SCORES AN INCREDIBLE SOLO GOAL AND DUMMIES CECH ON THE WAY.
His first for Sunderland and the first Chelski have conceded at the Bridge this season.
One minute of stoppage time. Cech had made a double save from Gyan and Richardson seconds before the goal.
It is halftime and Chelski trail 0-1 at the Bridge. The other discussion point is why Ivanovic was booked by Chris Foy instead of being sent off for denying a goal scoring opportunity. Chelski are fortunate to not be down to ten men even though Michael Turner has come close with some dangerous challenges.
The second half has begun.
Malouda was fouled by Titus after Turner fouled Drogba, but the referee played the advantage.
Welbeck shoots harmlessly wide with an ambitious effort from long range.
Chelski attack as drogba and Malouda have their shots blocked.

Danny Welbeck passed into the penalty area off of the free kick, but Turner could not make the connection.
Bramble is booked for fouling Anelka just outside the penalty area.
Zenden clears the free kick from Drogba.
Zenden poked the shot straight at Cech.
I wonder why Ray Wilkins was released by Chelski. That does not make any sense.Does anyone have any ideas?
Ramires is about to be replaced by seventeen year old McEachran.
The fans applaud as the local lad makes an appearance.
Anelka shoots wide from just outside the penalty area.
Swansea defeated Middlesbrough 1-0 as they are three points behind second place Cardiff City.

Richardson shoots wide trying to make it four.
The final is Chelski 0 Sunderland 3
