The match at Shite Fart lane has kicked off and it is 0-0 with four minutes played.
It is still 0-0 at The Lane with ten minutes played. Gareth Bale is the topic for discussion after some great performances.
Cap is in the stands yet again.
Sandro shoots high and wide after Spurs best move of the match.
Prior to the match, Jon Champion and Efan Ekoku stated that Owen Coyle wants to build the Bolton side around Stuart Holden.
Bolton could give Spurs a difficult match at The Lane . As I say that Bolton play a long ball into the box that Davies heads down. Matt Taylor blasts a volley that is blocked by a teammate in an offside position.
I need to make a correction. The match is at The Reebok after a midweek CL match. Spurs will really have their work cut out for them.
Bolton will be playing their second consecutive league match at The Reebok after playing Liversox on Halloween. Bolton were unlucky to lose. IMHO.
Lee is down injured for Bolton holding his face. Wilson Palacios receives instructions from Arry.
Bolton had a chance as Elmander crossed across the face of goal,but Stuart Holden could not connect.
Neither team has had a shot on target as we are midway through the first half.
Taylor shoots straight at Gomes from long range with his left foot. That is the first save of the match.
For the first time in the match, Gareth Bale was able to get free down the left ,but Crouch was not able to head down his cross to a Spurs player.
Gomes had to tip a Steinsson cross around the post after the cross eluded everyone. Gomes punched away as Holden took the corner.
GOAL 1-0 TO BOLTON!!! Kevin Davies placed a left footed shot from just outside the area in the corner. Sandro was caught in possession by Muamaba, then passed for Davies to score. The Spurs players claim offside.
Arry will be upset that his team cheaply gifted possession just outside the penalty area as Bolton scored.
Spurs win a corner as Bale broke down the left and Knight made a timely interception. The corner is cleared, but Spurs maintain possession. Crouch shoots straight at the keeper.
It is hard to believe that Crouch has not scored in the EPL this season. His goals have come in other competitions.
Bale broke down the left again past Steinsson, but Crouch could not connect with his excellent cross.
Jussi saved well from Gallas. A minute later Kaboul shot over from a corner.
There will be one minute of stoppage time.
Modric wins a corner for Spurs.
The corner is headed clear . Knight heads away Bale's long throw for a corner. The corner is cleared and it is halftime as Bolton lead 1-0. Arry should have plenty to say.
Pavs is on for Palacios as the second half is underway. It is a tactical change.
Lee is called for a foul on Assiou-Ekotu after a promising move. The Spurs left back went down too easily. IMHO.
Pavs is miles offside as Spurs attempt to break after some Bolton pressure.
Paul Robinson is booked for a challenge on Sandro about 25 yards from goal.
Bale nearly scored as the curling free kick hit the outside of the post.
Gomes makes an excellent reflex save from Elamnder after a cross from Taylor. Gary Cahill shoots just wide from just outside the penalty area.
It is still 1-0 as Bolton could have had a two goal advantage.
GOAL 2-0 BOLTON!!! Steinsson finishes with a nice shot in the corner after a great build-up and a great pass from Kevin Davies.
Spurs now face an uphill battle to get back into this match.
Hutton broke down the right,but Sandro could not make the proper connection and Bale shot well over from a difficult angle.
Huddlestone is now on for Sandro.
Elmander breaks for Bolton and wants a penalty after what seemed to be an excellent tackle from Gallas.
Bale is flagged offside as he attempts to cross from the left.

We are set for an excellent finish to this match as Spurs were 3-0 down , but have pulled it back to 3-2.
Huddlestone intentionally stamped on Elmander and Chris Foy missed it! The Bolton players are furious as Fatty should have seen red. The FA will probably ban him for three matches as Foy ludicrously awards a drop ball.
