The team news out of Madrid tonight:

I was one of those that lost eight points as Barca were eliminated. I want Real in the final so Jose can face his former club and Roman. It will make for great conversation.

I'd have to look at it again to see if there is an unnatural movement of the arm toward the ball. It didn't look like it on first look.

Big holes in the Bayern defense there as the ball is threaded through to Ronny by Ozil and he makes no mistake. Lethal.
That goal actually doesn't change much. Real are 3-2 up on aggregate now but one goal by Bayern would even things up and take this match to extra time.
In other words, this one is far from over.

Jose knows all about this team as his Inter beat them in the final two years ago, and for that reason I think he knows how to defeat this team.

I did not think that was a penalty and Pepe should not have been booked. I noticed Ribery was not there to congratulate Robben.
I'd say that those penalties evened themselves out - they were both soft IMHO.

Oh - really good play from Benzema who started that attack by sweeping out to DiMaria and then continued his run. He collected a long ball, cut inside and tried a curler. Not too far away.

Chelsea may still finish fourth. They play Newcastle at the Brisge next Wwednesday. It should be a cracker.
