The Champions League Group stages is Back
After a long wait the Group stages of the Champions League is back. The marquee match is Real Madrid vs Citeh at the Bernabeu, which is televised live on FSC. Also Arsenal has a trip to the Vermont capital to take on Montpellier.I am sure Arsene is more concerned with three points than viewing the spectacular autumn foliage. Seriously it's a trip to southern France. Comes join us if you can.

I am back from some urgent errands and see Citeh have jsut taken a 1-2 lead.
BLOODY HELL!! BENZEMA MAKES IT DESMOND. A PASS FROM DI MARIA AND BENZEMA MAKES A 180 DEGREE TURN THEN SUPERBLY FINISHES.
A suoerb save by Skippy as Real broke through Benzema.
Citeh had taken the lead through a free kick from Kolorov that seemed to be diverted into his own goal by Xavi Alonso, but Kolorov was gredited with the goal.End to end stuff. Hart makes a save one on one and Citeh clear, but Real maintain possesssion.
GOAL !!!! 3-2 CITEH AS SKIPPY HAS WON IT FOR REAL
Marcelo fed Skippy down the left and the shot wickedly swerved, but Hart should have done better. All Five goals have been scored in the last 25 minutes. Citeh have twice lost the lead
Three minutes of stoppage time.

HOW DID I MISS IT ALL
Another unconvincing win for United... they're just not good enough
It's been a crazy week with our inaugurating a new president here at Fredonia, so I've been out of the footie loop. That wasn't the worst thing when it came to another miserable Leeds loss yesterday - at home to bloody Hull. It's our fourth loss in six matches - so much for Warnock being a great Championship manager. We're 14th now.
But I do regret missing out on yesterday's Real v. Citeh thrillfest. I hope to be able to catch up with the highlights at some point. Well done to Arsenal and United for their opening wins.
