Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

I've got a link up through First Row here: http://www.firstrow1.eu/watch/168543/1/watch-liverpool-fc-vs-west-bromwich-albion.html

The strains of Gerry and the Pacemakers as the teams come out.
The Baggies get us underway - both sides are in their first choice kits.
A slow start for the home side who start tonight in 7th, five points behind their cross-city rivals.
Shelvy has it in the net but he's flagged offside. Foster lucked out there as he had just pushed Suarez's initial effort right out to the bald one.
Oh - great sweeping Liverpool move there but Olsson was able to nod out Downing's cross for a corner.
Oh - Agger had a free header from the resulting corner. Put it over the top!
I am here for a bit
I forgot about this game ending 3-0 to the Baggies in the first match of the season
Brunt did well to get to the by-line but Carradona did well to shepherd it out.
Did you see this story Bob? I know it is on the Sun but..

Agger misses an open header.. he missed the ball completely
Afternoon, Dave. I do remember that because it's one of the funniest sequences in the "Being Liverpool" series. Lots of build-up for the season, with Brendan Rogers doing a load of PowerPoint presentations and then they got tonked.
Did you see the image of Peter Odemwinge at the Vatican? Hilarious!

Nice one
Nice one
Into the waning moments at Anfield. Not a lot of chances in this first half.
Oh - nearly an own goal by Stephen Reid. Came off his standing foot and spun over the bar. Lucky boy.
Wow.. almost an howler from the Baggie defender... NOT BARRY-LIKE!
Barry's was an accomplished finish, this one was a whiff and miss... almost
Suarez went down and had to put his arm up... just get up!
The more I see the Barry own goal, the more I like it. He leans into the ball so deliberately. It's an excellent finish.
What about my Leeds link?
Is it a good thing?
Side netting
Side of the foot
BRILLIANT
Half time and Liverpool have not made the important breakthrough
I want Liverpool to beat the big boys but lose to the rest
What a bloody nonsense! GFH (or "GBH" as the podcast I listen to calls them) just bought the club seven weeks ago! Now they're flogging it for a higher price! Not happy.
Wonder how true it is
I agree with the Neviller. Without Sturridge, Liverpool are light in the center forward area.
We're away again at Anfield. Let's hope we get a couple of quick goals. I have to teach in about twenty minutes.
Oh - mad scramble in the WBA box after Downing's shot. Foster did well to stand up to Gerrard.
Oh - nearly an opener there for Pool. Henderson crossed well and Foster saved another certain own goal, this time off Olsson.
Rogers is going to make some changes now, as the hour mark gets close. Looks like Sterling and someone else.
Does Suarez ever go down without appealing for a free kick? He's a cheating little git.
Okay - it's Borini for Shelvy - straight swap. And Sterling on for Henderson - slightly more attacking.
Sorry, I am back from walkies from a relatively warm Glenville
As it stands, Liverpool will rise above Swansea into 7th and WBA will maintain their place in 9th.
Warm here too, but a bit too breezy for my liking.
I think should propose that SUNY Fredonia buy LUFC and then they put you in charge of Football Operations
Prem here they come
Gerrard with a rocket of a shot saved by Foster.. .rebound missed
Bloody hell... PENALTY TO LIVERPOOL
NEVER A PENALTY... OF COURSE SUAREZ GOES DOWN
VERY SOFT... Even Macca says so
Brilliant save by Foster... justice served!
Suarez was of course involved
oooh, Molumbu(sp) with a nice strike.. saved by Pepe... it was going in.. saved by finger nail
GOAL... WBA SCORES FROM THE FOLLOWING CORNER
1 NIL... 10 TO GO
Liverpool still won't have beaten a top ten team at the time the played them
5 to play
BTW, Liverpool's shirts have a charity sponsor tonight as they did in the their last home game last season
"Seeing is Believing"
Lukaku with a decent attack.. shoots wide
TWO NIL
LUKAKU DOES SCORE WBA'S SECOND!!
WHAT A TURN UP
GET INVOLVED
Gareth Faulkner: "Liverpool need a clinical finisher like Gareth Barry."
Yellow for Suarez. He is up to 8... ten and there is a two match ban
1 minute of 5 added to be played
That's it... West Brom do the double over Liverpool. Outscoring them 5 Nil!
West Brom go above Liverpool in the table
