Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

WARNOCK OUT!!!!

So, maybe today's loss has a silver lining!! Neil Warnock is out at Elland Road. I ask our resident Elland Roader for his comments and who he wants next.
Here are the odds for the next manger at the helm
Brian McDermott 7/4
Martin O'Neill 4/1
Gus Poyet 11/2
Owen Coyle 9/1
Neil Refearn 12/1
Mark Hughes 14/1
Richard Naylor 18/1
Paul Lambert 20/1
Steve McClaren 20/1

ONLY ONE CHOICE IN MY BOOK

Your Thoughts?

Wow! Best news I'll have all week. I'l be cracking open a celebratory cold one tonight.

Still - what exactly is the point of sacking him with seven matches left? I suppose could say that our season is over and planning for the 2013/14 season should commence forthwith. I certainly hope that they're not hinting that we need someone in to rescue us from the drop.

From that short list of candidates - my top 3:

1. Gus Poyet
2. Martin O'Neill
3. Brian McDermott

Definitely time for our Bob to celebrate.I think Leeds need at least another win and a draw to be safe from the drop.I would pick the same top three as Bob and forget the others as they are no better than the one that just walked the plank.:

1) Gus
2) Martin
3) Bob's twin

Poyet, obviously tops this list. I can't fathom the love you guys have for O'Neill given the dire way his last clubs have played, the rancor he fosters with his flair players, and the position of his previous clubs when he's been given the sack. You might say the same about McDermott on point 3, but he puts out a fighting unit with the players he has, so he's another good shout. I don't think Coyle has a scooby-doo tactically, but he does instil a sense of purpose in the 2nd tier so he'd be my third.

Too bad this didn't happen last week so you could have bagged Paolo Dicanio! Still, anytime's a great time to get rid of the Warn-ker! Congrats.
