We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

John Oliver to Host The Daily Show

British comedian John Oliver is set to take over the desk at The Daily Show this summer while Jon Stewart is off directing his first feature film. Oliver has been a regular contributor to the show for the past eight years and has his own podcast The Bugle with fellow Brit comic Andy Zaltzman, which you should check out if you haven't before. Your thoughts, gents?

I've thought for a while that he's the next breakout Daily Show star. He'll be good, I'll watch, but I'm not expecting him to break format.
