Arsene's Waterloo?
Arsenal manager Arsenal Wenger enters tonight's away leg in Turkey against Fener under more scrutiny and pressure than he's ever been under at the club. Arsenal had a disastrous start to the season, losing to Villa 1-3 at home, but more significantly losing three players to injury, including Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain who reputedly will take six months to recover. Will Le Boss survive this test? Join me for all of the action from 2:45pm onward.

Afternoon, chaps. I'm doing duty over in the office during the first half today. I'll be zipping to The Cottage at half time on the Blue Devil Bike. I've got a decent link for the Arsenal match on First Row.
Chelski are also in action this afternoon against Villa. If Jose doesn't play The Chunk from the off today, I'm going to be pissed.
The teams out on the pitch in Turkey:
Fener - Demirel, Irtegun, Yobo, Alves, Kadlec, Topal, Meireles, Emre, Sow, Webo, Kuyt.
Arse - Sussudio, Sagna, Mertesacker, Koz, Gibbs, Rosicky, Jack, Ramsey, Caz, Giroud, Theo.
Totally irritated - Demba Ba is starting alone up top for Chelski. Lukaku is on the bench again. So it appears that he's third in the pecking order for Jose.
We're away in Turkey. Arsenal are wearing a really odd kit tonight. It's the usual home tops but with navy blue shorts in order not to clash with Fener's white shorts.
Lots of familiar names in the Fener side for Premiership watchers, including former Everton hatchet man Joseph Yobo and former Liverpool spaniel Dirk Kuyt.
Oh - Kuyt whipped a great cross over for Webo but Koz managed to head clear.
Plenty of Pet Shop Boys fans in the Fener crowd tonight.
Decent possession for the Arse so far. Honestly, a draw would be a triumph for them tonight.
Chelski are 1-0 up inside ten minutes - an o.g. from Diego Luna.
Wilshere is down with a knock now.
Oh - Caz nearly found Theo in the box. Dangerous.
From 365.com: "It's all too easy for Chelsea - looking like a keep ball session."
Oh - Ramsey had a half chance but scuffed his shot into the ground.
Sussudio catches that free kick comfortably.
Wenger must be fairly pleased but it doesn't look like it.
Raul Meireles has pulled off an even worse look here than the tattooed street punk look he was sporting at Pool. Add to that, a mohawk and mountain man beard and you'll get the picture.
Koz has taken a knock now and the Arsenal players are not happy. Webo gets a yellow.
Private Jenkinson reporting for duty to replace Koz.
Half an hour gone and job done so far for the Arse.
Disappointing stuff from Fener in this first half.
Oh - Jenkinson played a great ball in but as usual there was no one in a red shirt steaming in to put their head in the danger zone.
"There's just not enough bodies in the box," Alan Smith says. Sums it up.
Coming down to the last few minutes of the first half now. Hasn't been a classic.
Oh - Arsenal's best opportunity of the half but no way through for Giroud.
Half-time. 0-0. zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
I'm off home to catch the second half.
Into the second half now. This one's still on the knife's edge for the Arsenal. One goal and they'd be up against it again.
GOAL! Kieran Gibbs with a vital strike!
Really well-worked goal from the Gunners. Ramsey held on the ball just long enough to release Theo who looked up and saw Gibbs at the backpost. Easy finish into the roof for the kid.
0-1 Arsenal!
Arsenal with the momentum now. Theo was right in there for a second but Demerel did well to block out his little dink with his face.
Now it's Sussudio in the wars. Sow really left his foot in as he challenged for that ball and Sussudio's face has been bloodied.
It's my first experience with Fox Sports 1 this afternoon. Not very good. Missed the second half kick-off for adverts and there has been a round-robin of commentary staff. Currently we've got Rob Stone and Warren Barton - the studio crew - commentating from the studio using their monitors.
Oh - Wilshere was right through but Demerel did so well to block the shot.
GOAL! Ramsey locks up the tie for the Arsenal!
It just seemed to open up for Ramsey Red Sea style and he just launched a fierce right-footed drive that that keeper couldn't paw around the post.
0-2!
Arsenal seem to be the Wigan of Champions League football. Just when you've counted them out, they somehow engineer a miracle.
How does a team look so abject at the weekend against inferior opposition at home and then travel across the continent and convincingly beat a much better side away?
Hey Bob
I have been at both houses watching both matches.
I am now home for awhile.... Villa have looked really good and could well have been ahead at the Bridge
I am totally confused about Fox
Fox Sports 1 is showing the Arsenal match
FSC still exists and is showing a match
MSG have a match as well
20 minutes to go at the Bridge
COME ON VILLA
Villa look more dangerous than Chelsea
Handbags at the Bridge
Ivanovic gets a yellow... some thought red would come out
He threw his arm in Benteke's face... should have been a red
Very impressed with Villa.
Starting their season at Arsenal and Chelsea and then hosting Liverpool
Bloody Hell....Ivanovic heads Villa in the lead... HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN OFF MOMENTS BEFORE
Could have been offside as well
Villa definitely deserve something from this match
NBCSp are not drowning out the crowd tonight
Penalty to the Arsenal! Theo broke through and was hauled down by Demerel.
Hiya, Dave! Great to hear from you!
Giroud fires home! 0-3 - home and dry!
Giroud fires home! 0-3 - home and dry!
Arsenal get a pen and Giroud converts it.... duck soup for the Gunners
BBC Radio 5 live's Nigel Spackman at Stamford Bridge, BBC Radio 5 live
"Chelsea and Branislav Ivanovic are very, very fortunate - it should have been a red card for Ivanovic not long before he scored."
I'm confused by the coverage as well. I've still got FSC on my list and they're showing an old CL match from last season!
Hey Bob... very frustrated with Chelsea winning
He should have been sent off before he scored
Villa have been the better team
I'm over to the Premiership match now. Lukaku is on and I need goals from the boy.
Oh - he nearly got one for me!
Lukaku replaced Demba 'offside' Ba... just hit the side netting
I saw you post that. How on earth are Villa giving this lot a game?
FSC is showing a live CL match with Schalke
In the process of moving
The cable is put in at Sandalwood Lane on tomorrow so I guess that's when we are staying over there
Come on, The Chunk!
Delph has played really well in the midfield
Ags and Benteke are a handful
They look a good side
Anyone that picked Lambert to get the axe will be wrong
I was listening to TalkSport on the way home from Cortland on Sunday
Favorite for the sack
Alan Pardew
second favorite
Michael Laudrup
Chelsea starting to control the match now... what a shame
Oh - great chest control from The Chunk but his shot was blocked.
And again!
A ten year boy has replaced Oscar.
Oh - what a save by Weimann!
CECH SAVES CHELSEA.... Weiman with a sweet half volley well saved
That is, a save by Cech from Weimann!
Brilliant effort from Frank!!!
5 added minutes
It strikes me that Chelski come out of the traps burning on all cylinders and then take the foot off the gas once they get a goal up. That must be the Jose instructions. But I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't drop some unnecessary points because of it. Cech has saved their bacon today.
Score an injury time goal like the first half please Villa
THAT WAS A HANDBALL!!!!
Arsenal have wrapped up a brilliant victory away to Fener. I don't get them - how do you do that after crapping it up at home to Villa at the weekend?
Villa have been robbed
Corner
Should have been a pen against JT there. Dead cert.
Well done Gunners
Steve will be relieved
Agreed - Villa should have got a draw out of this one.
Villa are good team... that's why
I'm not sure what it means for them. They won't do anything again this season in the CL - just making up the numbers really. But it extends the Wenger regime.
How are they a good team? As far as I can see, they're 10 plodders and Benteke. If Benteke goes somewhere else in the transfer window, they're sunk.
Villa have lost.... what a shame
A point or more was deserved!
Guzman gets a yellow after the final whistle
Good to talk to you, although, briefly
I might be around Saturday from Sandalwood but I am not sure what time practice is
TTFN
A great win by the Gunners in Turkey and definitely delayed the inevitable. Sorry I could join you, but I spent all day listening to an inservice on Professional Learning Communities.
