Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Footie Trivia Question of the Week

Time for the Riddler again, chaps. And this week, it's a real corker:

"Since 1990, five Premiership or Football League grounds ending with the word "Road" have ceased to exist (they've snuffed it and gone to meet their makers; they are ex-grounds). Name as many as you can and the clubs who used to play there."

Good luck!

All four of those are correct - that is:

Maine Road - Citeh
Layer Road - Colchester
Leeds Road - Hudders
Highfield Road - Coventry

Brisbane isn't correct according to Auntie Beebs. It's a toughie but I'll give you a chance to think about it before I reveal it.

I read about Moyes. The sacking is not yet official. It's highly likely, but not definite. I hope this isn't too good to be true. Giggsy will probably be interim manager, but I would have preferred Nocito. Names being mentioned on a permanent basis are Kloppety Klopp and Diego Simeone. How about Pochettino at Sotton? He would be right for the job.
