A Big Night in the Champions League
It's another big night in the Champions League, with Liverpool traveling to Madrid to meet the holders. Real turned them over at Anfield two weeks ago in Matchday 3; can they turn it around tonight? Will Balotelli start? Lots of questions to be answered - and that's just one of the matches on offer. Arsenal host Anderlecht and my beloved LUFC will try to get back to winning ways against Charlton at Elland Road. Join me from 2:45pm onward.

Afternoon, Dave - I'm in the office watching on my brother's Fox Sports 2 Go feed.
Away we go in the Berny
Liverpool get us underway wearing their traditional red and Real wearing white - as it should be!
Afternoon Bob
Looks like Brendan Rogers is going to try to park the bus tonight and play for a draw - Balotelli on the bench and only Borini up front.
Good noise coming from the traveling Liverpool fans - "We are the Liverpool - la la la la la!"
Oh - great save from Mignolet as Liverpool are under the cosh.
There's a link for the Leeds match on First Row
Skippy is one goal shy of Raul's record of CL goals - I'm sure he's aware of that.
Ooooh - loverly. Cheers, mate - I'll have a peek at that.
Pool started well.. they did at Anfield too though
A shock early goal for Brum against high flying Watford. That won't last.
Can't get ss to work
And Boro have taken the lead against Norwich, leapfrogging Watford to the top of the pops.
I'm not sure that Liverpool have had a touch yet.
That's a decent cross but he only had wee Borini to aim at. Better from Pool.
Derby have taken the lead against Hudders.
Oh - Skrtel gave the ball away but Skippy couldn't convert.
have you got a SS link going
Told you so - Watford have leveled it at Brum.
Nope - not bothering with it today. I've already got two windows open
AND I'M SUPPOSED TO BE WORKING! SSHHHHH
So, there have been five goals in the Championship so far.
No goals in the Champions League - which is better value for the punters?
Decent cross from Marcelo but Mignolet collects confidently.
Look at that control from Skippy - cor!
I know you're curious - the Leeds line-up tonight for Neil Redfearn's second match in charge:
Silvestri, Byram, Bellusci, Cooper, Warnock, Bianchi, Cook, Mowatt, Adryan, Antenucci, Doukara.
Markovic tries to have a run at young Verane, who brushes him aside with rude aplomb.
The ageless Andrea Pirlo has fired Juve into the lead against Olympiacos.
Liverpool seem to have weathered the early storm.
Hudders have equalized at Derby.
One Nil
Benzy scores at the back post
Bolton have taken the lead at Cardiff - not good at all for us - we're now three points off relegation.
Just like at Anfield.. weathered the storm and then concede... will they get a couple of more
GOAL! Benzema strikes again!
Great team move with Marcelo overlapping and then sending in a dangerous ball. Benzema had a lot to do with that one as it bounced up in front of him. Roofed it past Mignolet.
1-0 Real!
The goals are starting to flow in the CL - Arteta has fired in a penalty to put Arsenal in front.
Sanchez scores again!!
Two nil!
Juve and Olym tied at 1
How's your lot doing
Lallana with a free kick chance. Cleared out.
Still 0-0 at Elland Road, mate. We've had the better of it, though. We really need the three points. We've lost three on the trot.
A Madrid take the lead
Koke has opened the score for Atletico away to Malmo.
Alexis Sanchez has added a second goal for Arsenal. They're cruising it tonight.
Ronny with a free kick.. belted toward goal... saved
I mentioned Sanchez's goal a while back
He can't stop scoring!!!
Oh - Skippy nearly adds a second from a free kick. Mignolet clawed it away.
Benzema nearly gets on the end of Varane's ball there. Cleared out for a corner by Kolo.
The Tractor Boyz have taken the lead against Wolves.
Liverpool keep giving the ball away... they look like United!!!
With Wigan losing this afternoon, Leeds have actually gained one place to 18th.
Boro have scored a penalty to lord it over Norwich 2-0 now.
Why didn't Liverpool shoot.. than a piss poor cross
Dortmund may be suffering in the Bundesliga these days, but they're doing well here. Reus has fired them into the lead against Gala.
Blackburn have taken the lead at Evil Milwall. That helps.
Oh - best chance of the half falls to Antenucci who blasts past the post from Warny's cross.
Basel are two up and three points ahead of Pool in the table
Basel are 2-0 over Ludogorets now.
Not looking good for Pool in the CL now. Perhaps the Europa?
Isn't it weird that Ronaldo looks weird wearing black boots
Martin did say that if they won both their remaining matches they would go thru
Basel at home and Ludo away
I've noticed a trend back toward black boots - and they do look weird!
Half time and Liverpool should be relatively pleased but as United.... not good enough
Those are two big "ifs" in Liverpool's current form.
I can't see why they'd be pleased. They're 1-0 down with no hope of recovering.
Leeds go in 0-0 with Charlton - we need a goal in the second half!
Real get us underway in the second half then.
Skrtel picks up an early yellow in this half for hacking down Skippy.
Skippy may fancy this one - into the wall.
Oh - Skippy draws another save out of Mignolet.
James picks up a yellow for bundling over Markovic.
No changes as yet at Elland Road.
Wahey! Alex Mowatt has fired us into the lead!
I've had to meet with a student for a few minutes and have come back to see that we're 2-1 up now - Mowatt has a brace!
Come on, lads - hold on!
I right old ding dong now at the Emirates. Arsenal were 3-0 up but Anderlecht have clawed back two goals.
Bournemouth are back up on top of the Championship now with a 0-2 lead over Not a Big Club.
Liverpool have hung for 80 minutes or so and now sense an opportunity to steal a point.
Oh - a close call there, with Bale running through and hacked down by Moreno. Just outside the area.
Oh - Bale draws a great save out of Mignolet now. Great save!
BUGGGGERRRR! Charlton have leveled it just as it looked as if we were going to claim our first win in yonks. Come on!
Real have finished 1-0 winners in Madrid. Not good enough for Pool, who have a desperate bid to get into the knock out stages now.
Into stoppage time at Elland Road now.
Boro have run away with a 4-0 win over Charlton and now are second in the table.
Derby have scored late on to claim a 3-2 win over Hudders. Good for us; not good for our country cousins.
Bloody hell - Redders have thrown on a sub in the 92nd minute. Brian Montenegro - never heard of him - on for Tommaso Bianchi.
That's it - full time at ER. Desmond. Not good enough. 17 points gained. 33 to get in 29 games now.
