Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

I'm back for the kickoff, lads. Hope you're all having a great day.
Team line-ups for United v. Stoke:
United - Twilight, Valencia, Smalling, Rojo, Young, Carrick, Hair Bear, Mata, Herrera, RVP, Wilson. Subs: Falcao, Jan, Lindy, Fletch, McNair, Blackett, Keane.
Stoke - Begovic, Bardsley, Shawcross, Wilson, Pieters, Cameron, N'Zonzi, Bojan, Ireland, Assaidi, Diouf. Subs: Muniesa, Palacios, Arnautovic, Adam, Butland, Crouch, Shenton.
Teams coming out right now.
And we're away at OT.
Stoke defenders right up against it from the off.
United missing a bit guile in Roon, who is injured today.
Shawcross already looks a wee bit winded.
No goals yet in the first ten minutes in the Premiership.
Sparky Hughes has left his seat in the stands and is now prowling the touchline. Not happy with proceedings, clearly.
Oh - Terrible sequence of play with Begovic passing straight to Mata who played in Herrera who then blazed over.
Someone should tell Stephen Ireland that "Movember" is over. Get a razor, mate!
Yashley seemed to throw an elbow at Bardsley there - ref's not bothered.
So, Stoke have weathered the opening onslaught. Can they now build upon that?
GOAL! Hair Bear opens the scoring!
Mata spread wide to Rojo who hung up a delightful ball that Hair Bear came steaming in on. No chance for Begovic.
1-0 United!
A Mignolet own goal has given Leicester a surprise opening lead at the Crisps.
Now the goals are coming - Dawson has given WBA the lead against West Ham.
Liverpool are back - Adam Lallana has equalized.
GOAL! N'Zonzi levels it for Stoke!
A freak accident there for Hair Bear who seemed to have twisted his neck coughed the ball up in a dangerous position and N'Zonzi took full effect.
Oh - Hair Bear has a chance to give United the lead again but Begovic smothered the shot this time.
Boyd has give Burnley an improbable lead against Newcastle.
Back on at OT now.
West Ham have turned it around at the Hawthorns. They're now 1-2 up at half-time. James Tomkins with the goal. And it fires them back up into 4th above United.
Villa now leading at Palace 0-1 through a Christian Benteke goal right before half-time.
Pappis Cisse has equalized for Newcastle at Turf Moor.
Liverpool lead and it's - guess who? - Steven Gerrard with that priceless goal.
Pieters picks up a yellow and now both Stoke fullbacks are on cautions.
GOAL! United are back in front!
Mata crossed over and Rojo met it with the faintest of touches. Mata and Rojo will have to argue over that one in the dressing room later.
Leicester are now down to ten men - Wes Morgan given his marching orders.
Oh - James Wilson with a brilliant run but couldn't find the finish.
Wilson is away again and hacked down by Ireland. Yellow for him.
Oh - Herrera laid off nicely to Hair Bear who blazed over.
Crouchie to the rescue for Stoke?
Radomel Falcao also coming off the bench for United.
Sparky kicking every ball now in the technical area.
Ki has fired Swansea into the lead against hapless QPR.
Swansea are 2-0 up through Wayne Routledge.
Jordan Henderson has increased Liverpool's lead at Leicester. 1-3 there.
Stoke have a free kick chance now....
Oh - Twilight saved a certain goal from Diouf. Brilliant stuff!
Oh - and again! Diouf denied again by Twilight!
And that's it - four wins on the trot for United. Rojo is still claiming the winner but it's certainly Mata's.
So - the final scores today:
Burnley 1 Newcastle 1
Leicester 1 Liverpool 3
United 2 Stoke 1
Swansea 2 QPR 0
Villa have held on for a win at Selhurst Park.
And West Ham are hanging on for a win at the Hawthorns.
That's it for me this afternoon - cheerio, lads!
Hello Bob. Sorry I couldn't join you. I was hoping to be around for the second half, but I had a lengthy parent conference that was a complete and utter waste of time. At least United won, even though they were far from their best. I hope you feel better.
