We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Pleased that Everton picked up Lennon on loan. He gives pace that Osman and Pienaar cannot deliver. Hopefully this takes McGeady out of the lineup. It also does not bode well for Mirallas, who is out of contract at the end of the season.
That's a useful pick-up for the Toffees. Aaron was getting a bit stale at Spurs - could be a good change of pace for him.
I thought that we'd been suspended from transfers during this transfer window but somehow Leeds arranged two major signings, both from Cellino's Italian sources. Edgar Cani, a 25 year old Italian striker has come in from Catania. And Sol Bamba, a central defender from Palermo, started for us on Saturday against Huddersfield and apparently did well.
